More beacons per telepad please.

I'd like to know if there's a good reason for a limit of only 2 beacons per telepad. And if there isn't a good reason for the limit, may we please have more beacons per pad?

The only mechanical reason to even have crafted telepads is to force players to burn resources.

Ultimately, it's a time sink. Same as making folks visit locations to get the beacons.

Drat. I read the title too quickly and thought this was about more BACON.
I'll sign anyway though.

PLEASE! In reality there's little reason to need more than one teleporter if it could just be linked to go everywhere. Considering all we have are "Basic" telepads.. lets see the "advanced"!

More bacon would also be fine with me

Base system updates? I'd be surprised.

While this would be helpful, the technology may not exist to keep Heroes from going through the portals to a Villain zone. Or at least, the technology may not exist without making a base like Pocket D, in that every time you enter it you lose all your currently selected missions from the "other side", and all Tips. Not to mention being unable to join team invites for whatever reason.

I expect we'll see more progress on this in I19, but it's not as easy as just dropping a telepad and attaching a beacon to it. (In fact, right now you can earn the beacons, you just can't place them)

I'd willingly pay a reasonable amount of prestige more (both up front and in rent) for "advanced" teleporters to more destinations.

As to the red and blue zone travel thing, a strong case for that was made in GR closed beta and the call for it continues (though a minority of people think what we have is sufficient and the "price to be paid" for being a rogue or vigilante).

I think it's important that the time and effort be dedicated so that bases remain relevant to the times (more destinations, Praetoria, side switching, etc.). The devs?... so far at least, not so much. We are in a situation where the seemingly simplest of new development requests for bases have gone wanting for a period of years. It's easy to become pessimistic when asking for things of even a little more complexity such as red/blue travel.

But some of us keep trying.

What would be nice for an Advanced Teleporter is the option of where in a zone you get dropped off at.

For Steel you would have a choice between the normal teleport spot in Northern Steel and the base entrance next to the Strong Guy statue.
