Which pet does the most damage?

Is there any place that shows the damage a pet makes? I couldn't find this on MIDS. It doesn't even show what mm pets do.

In other words, which controller does the most damage?

Red Tomaxes site on CoHTitan lets you click through to see power totals.

You can also use the "Detailed Info" links on the character creation screen ingame to get a list of pets powers and damage I think.

For controllers the answer is Fire Imps as far as I know, simply because there are 3 of them and they attack pretty quickly. After that I'm not sure, possibly Stoney from Earth Control. He hits hard.

Warshades flufflies also do excellent damage.

If you're talking overall damage per mob, I would agree its imps. Gremlins might be a close second.... but top damage from single attacks, it would have to be Stoney or Jack Frost. I actually lean more towards Jack, since I have a ice/ troller and seen Jack go to town with his greater ice sword.

Don't you know that discussion of power selection/slotting can ONLY be based on hearsay, rumor, idle speculation, and bald-faced lies??!? ~Elf_Sniper

Fire would be first. I can't recall the exact data, but PA when it's out might be second. The problem is getting it to be perma.

One question is, are you considering by the controller or by the pet? Three Fire Imps do the most damage probably, but individually Rocky and Phanty can do more damage than a single Imp. By the controller, Illusion has Phantom Army, Phantasm and Phantasm's Decoy. It is hard to say whether Fire's 3 pets do more damage than Illusion's 5 . . . Illusion probably comes second, in part because of the heal-back for Phanty's Decoy and the Phantom Army.

Of the remaining Controller pets, I'd say Rocky (Animate Stone) comes next ever since Seismic Smash was added to his attacks. It's kind of hard to say where Jack Frost, Twoey (Venus Fly Trap) and Singularity fall. Twoey does some AoE damage, while Jack has more control. Singy is not real high on damage per se, but because he is far more durable than Jack or Twoey, he may or may not do overall more damage. And my Elec/Rad doesn't have his Gremlins yet, so I have no personal experience there. I suspect that Electric's Gremlins are probably just below Illusion and above the others.

Confused AVs do the most damage.

Mind Control's Comedy and Mass Comedy powers give you the widest selection of pets and offer the greatest safety in summoning and using them.

It's the end. But the moment has been prepared for ...

But the only last 30 seconds before they're biting the hand that feeds them. Also, EB's with PToD... Fuuuuuuuuu

Depends. For most applications the answer is fire imps.

In some specific configurations the answer is PA (with or without phantasm).

One pet all by itself the answer is stoney (Jack is still bugged and doesn't properly cycle all attacks, otherwise it would be him).

I haven't tested gremlins extensively, but they didn't strike me as high damage like imps or PA when I tried them in beta. I'm sure they do alright though.

If you include confuse as a 'pet' then my vote goes to illusion (with high uptime of PA). Although if you count carrion creepers as a pet then seeds+creepers+the plant pet is pretty darn high damage.

Scrappers make the best/highest damage pet, though they can be quite the aggro magnet.

There, I've said it.

You know, something about the OP hit me...

He asks "Which pet does the most damage" and then segues into "Which CONTROLLER does the most damage". You have to realize that these statements may have two different answers.

For instance, with Fire, the fire imps do more damage just because there's more of them, and the first few fire mez-attacks do a touch more damage than their counterparts in other sets. HOWEVER, the DoT in Plant control's AoE immob is TWICE that of ANY controller set, AND you get an AoE confuse (so the mobs are attacking each other) AND you got a pet spitting out damage. So overall, even though the three imps do more damage than Audrey, a Plant controller will still out-damage a Fire controller if they play actively instead of sitting back and letting their pet do all the work.

Also, you have to consider the secondary. A Mind/Rad or /Kin (who has no pets) will probably out damage a Fire/FF simply because the */FF doesn't have any debuffs or self +damage/recharge buffs. Granted, there may be certain circumstances where a fire/ff will out-damage a /kin or /rad or /storm, but overall i'd give those later three sets the nod for most help in dealing damage.
