Ive bugged it ingame on defiant, also getting the few people that are on sals and UC to as well. More bug reports that are sent the better i think.

I also, have submitted a support ticket. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

It is nice to see the whole of Union being unplayable is so important that all the devs get paged and dragged into the office to fix it...

Yes, if they just would page BaB out of bed he could animate the server problems away ...
The servers are in Frankfurt, Germany. The Devs, who most likely can't fix anything anyway, since they're not from the server hosting facility, are in the US.

we had something similar on monday night about midnight would loose mapserver, log back in 2 seconds later mapserver again.
tried to log in just now before i saw post, lucky i can get onto Defiant to play. will be sending a bug report too
I don't really care where the servers are located, but I do care that they work as intended. Of course I understand that sometimes things break down and hopefully these things will be fixed asap. Some notification here seems to be in order also. Knowing if they are working on the problem yet, and maybe even an estimated time of returned service of Union would be appreciated.
On another note I think it's nice to see support for Union by the player base. Our home this is.

Only on Defiant to help out the people logging in and asking on the various Union global channels whats going on. We really need to have something like the Brighton Office back, the EU support is a joke really seeing as we have to wait til mid afternoon before anyone in the US even LOOKS at the EU forums/support tickets.
Even found out the main account page for NCSoft is down so can't file a support ticket there. Bug report ingame will have to do

Also got this issue, i submitted a /bug
Union seems to be fixed now. Thanks to the power of all those bug reports! Thanks to all who submitted one. Now all we need is a redname to explain wth happened

They did some stealth server resurrection and now Union is back up!

The rednames all work what is effectively a 9-5 salaried job without callout. To be perfectly honest, I'm not even sad that we've had no response, because I wouldn't want to get dragged out of bed at 4.40 in the morning to log onto a forum and say "Nothing we can do, but the server farm is aware and trying to fix it".
We've bugged it, we've posted. But we really can't assume they're doing nothing about it just because even War Witch (who gets up at 5.00am) wouldn't have been awake to respond to us.

Yes, it's all true that the men and women with the means to solve our problems have been asleep, but that doesn't do much to make many frustrated Union players feel any better, I'm afraid. I too, miss the Brighton office but I don't know that if it still existed they would have been able to do anything to resurrect Union before California woke up. I do, however, believe that in the past Rockjaw or someone would have posted a line or two to say "We're aware of the issue and someone will fix it as soon as is humanly possible", or words to that effect. Sometimes, a little word of understanding and reassurance from a red name is all it takes to calm folks. It's a pity we no longer have that to the extent that we used to, which is infuriating for many of the EU playerbase who remember Brighton fondly. Please make allowances for some of us crotchety wrinklies who keep looking wistfully back to days of yore...
