I also enjoy reading erotic fanfic from true fans.

Had 4 Beams on the team for awhile, and no time manips. I found that odd.

Only had 6 on the team for the most part and had to bump to x8 about half way through. It was a beautiful thing.

Team MP(s) started with... ugh, Paragonwiki needs update, I can't find the new i21 contact names... Started with the first guy in Atlas. It was quite a challenge keeping 6 people sync'ed through that contact, with all the fedexes and street sweeps and missions that were in "side rooms", for lack of a better term, on the Atlas map.

We then ran through the next contact, Sondra?. Much the same types of problems. These contacts are really designed for solo play. At least she had a couple of instanced missions that we could do shared completion on.

We then took a break from the contacts and ran through Death from Below. Picked up 2 from the queue and ran through the trial at 8. That got us to level 9/10.

Isolators teams reorganized at this point. We lost one and picked up a couple. We ran through Wincott and Flux in the Hollows, topping off the night with Frostfire. I took advantage of MG's cheating and used his missions as they were higher level which effectively made them +1 for most of us.

The cuter MP made a suggestion that we try out creating a League next week which should make for better team reorg and Isolator-wide communication. Each team can be off on different missions while in a league. I have seen this in action a few times. It's pretty cool.

Finished off the night around level 13/14.

You do realize who insists on having an iron fist in this, right? He can't even bother to pay attention to tells, SG chat, Local chat, or global chat; lord knows he doesn't pay attention to real-time going ons during iTrials for league chat as it is.

Or, at least, I'll blame a lack of attention and not accuse him of being cow-level slow in reaction/response times.

Yeah, we talked about that. Wasn't aware that leagues could handle people in multiple missions. I assume you can only switch people on teams if they out of mission?

League sounds fine to me if it works well. I like that new Sewer Trial. It's focused and has a good enough story for it, and makes a nice way to race through those early levels if you choose. Those new arcs are pretty good in AP, though. They seem to have lowered the spawn rate or something on some of those hunt missions, though... they were up every 30 seconds or so in Beta, and we had nothing new in over two minutes at one point.

I had fun running through The Hollows again. It's been awhile thanks to Praetoria, and Frostfire is always nostalgic to me. I love that map.

Definitely hope we can hit Faultline next week. It's a good zone as well that I haven't hit much since Going Rogue landed.

Liking Grav/Time so far. Propel is as goofily fun as I remember it being, and Time has some neat looking effects. Still working on the look of mine to get as close to the Union Jack's red and blue as I can.

Does anyone have suggestions for a Time/NRG defender build? I've been away so long, and have no knowledge of the new power sets, that I don't really know what to take.

I've tried to look up */NRG defender guides on the forum but all the links were dead. One thing I read about Time Manipulation is that you'll want to take all the powers, are they all that good?

I'm not into invention enhancements beyond the basic ones I can (maybe) make and any drops I get, so keep that in mind.

Thanks.

Distortion Field is skippable IMO. I don't care much for slow/-rech , so I didn't put it in the build I quickly whipped up for you.
It is just common IOs and the heal procs. Chrono Shift has Set IOs in it, mainly because each part buffed is somewhat important.

Has Power Mastery for conserve power, without Set bonuses the recovery seemed quite low to me and hopefully CP will provide overkill to that. Lol.
Try and use Power Boost before farsight so you can be softcapped for the full duration - although sitting at 35% defense is not that bad.

But you have to remember Nugget, this is Isos, with like 5 of 7 people being time, stacking distortion fields is like super sickening goodness!

You can just roll up a new Street Justice toon for Isos if you want, Voo.

NancY: I think the reason people say you should take all of Time's powers is because of the way they stack. Some powers put special effects on mobs (e.g. Delayed) that cause other powers to be more effective. I think this is true of the buffs as well.

I'm planning on taking the whole set myself.

Well I was considering switching my claws brute out for a Street Justice Brute, but I would want to keep playing the Street Justice brute even without Isos so I think there would be a problem. I could do two Street Justice brutes at once, but it seems a little excessive.

Well I had already taken it before War-Nugget posted that build. I liked it when I was soloing to catch up to 13. How many slots does it need if more than the first?

I don't use Mid's the way most people do, to check stats and survivability, I just use it to have a plan so that if I go to level up during Isos I can do it fast. I don't care about dying, I only care if my dying slows down the team.

Do you guys all try to get the max out of a build? If I don't do that am I going to be a liability to you guys?

I don't, but I can't speak for the rest of Isos.

As far as being a liability... Hamster leads a team... I'm not sure how you could be more of a liability than that.

You obviously want to make a decent build so you can be happy with the character, but you hardly have to be bleeding edge to do well in this game, and especially with Isos. The group is pretty solid, and with this run, we have so much Time and Beam going that it's hard not to be safe, unless you run off and take on something solo that you can't handle.

And even then, we'll probably rez you and not say anything. Unless you make it a trope, a la Satanic Hamster.

I sure as heck don't care how uber your build, just that you are playing and using your powers to help get things done. You do that, so you have no worries. Play and have fun!

I also deliberately will leave Shamster to his own devices when he goes off in the wrong direction; a few people were smart enough to catch on to that last night as well. Makes the sessions far more interesting and enjoyable.

Team MPs started off with Julius the Troll in the Hollows. By the time we completed his arc, we were 15/16 and had outleveled the Hollows content. We went to Faultline, upped our difficulty to +1, and went through Jim Temblor and Penelope Yin's arcs. As we weren't quite 20 we couldn't start on Doc Delilah, so we ran 2 radio missions (and dropped a 3rd). We then finished up the night with a Skyway safeguard run.

We finished off the night around level 19-20.

I'm enjoying my Time/Fire defender quite a bit. So far I've gotten everything from Time as it became available except the single target debuff and the single target Hold.

Distortion Field + Rain of Fire + Fireball = win!

Team Hamster ran though some of the Hollows and Faultline, then a round of newspaper.

Calling it level 20 for the targetting of the level.

Going into the new zone next week.

No liabilities for not min-maxing. I thought Isos was supposed to be for fun, not srsbzns :O

DF should be fine with 3 slots - End Rdx and 2 Recharge IOs. The slow is quite high, and like MP said - there should/will be stackage.

I'm loving the new AoE style of speed boost... I really like /kin toons, but have them all shelved because the old SB buff was a PIA to work with. I'm thinking I should have done a corruptor though, as the damage output of this defender is kinda sad right now... Hoping fulcrum will improve things dramaticaly.

Am enjoying it quite a bit. More than I thought I would. End use is killer though, least with the way I play. Once I actually get some enhancers placed, should do a little better The +to hit from the sewer trial has been pretty handy, considering I had no accuracy really slotted.

Finished at 21 (did the university tutorial and the mobs in that one mission went ahead and topped me off)....I really don't know how to slow myself down
