Option to Export to MIDs
Well, it's possible, but Mid's is a third-party software program, and isn't run by Paragon Studios. So I don't know how much the Devs would be willing to work with it.

It doesnt have to be mids... but it would be nice. Even if it is to export it out in code and then another application like Mids can take that info and import it into their application.
Something would be nice.

I would like this too. Click a button, data chunk put on clipboard, paste it into Mids. Short, sweet, mission accomplished.

The devs could placate the soulless marketing drones by designing their own character export format (maybe using XML, with enhanced export that includes character bio, badge list and other goodies) and then Mid's could come out with a compatibility update.

This way it's not "Mids-centric" and would be usable by any "hero planner" as long as they devs publish the .... frak, I lost the word. Generally make the standard of their export available to the public. I know there's a word for that.....
It'd be nice if it exported both (soon to be all 3) builds as well.
I mean just while we're wishing on a star here.

I have a Dream!
Let's hope this doesnt go away and die off, as it is a great idea, it is being done with other games (WoW, Fallen Earth, even Starcraft etc) so it can be done. The question is, are the database guys able, willing, allowed to do it?
The answer should be an astounding YES!

I'd love this option.
The main issue though is that CoH, unlike Mids, doesn't remember what levels you actually placed slots at.
Mind you with a near cross-the-board respec event happening with i19 it'd be an excellent time to start recording that data too.
I would love it if the Devs did this. If they did, I would make Mids compatible with it in a heartbeat.
You listening, Castle? :P

Got a Mids suggestion? Want to report a Mids bug?
This is a fantastic idea. Make it so number 1.
I'll go a step further and agitate for Mids being folded in to the game as part of my dream revamp of the respec process.

Definitely with goat on this one, whether or not they buy out the Mids' app (which I think they should to be fair to the people who put in all the time on it) or make their own version, I think it would be a boon to all players to have a 2 way street into and out of the game's respec system. Clearly a loaded spec from file wouldn't magically create enhancers, but it could auto spec powers and slots based on the file, and then possibly slot enhancers by matching process (anything you have in inventory that matches the file gets used).

Can we not get an option to export our current character to an application like mids so that I dont have to manually place IOs and sets, their levels, powers, etc, for each of my characters?
I just want to click a button and BAM! all the information is laid out for all to see where I post it.
