2010 FArt Finale - Shia vs. Christopher Robin in...Battle: Ribbon

I would like to request that all the new drama posts made on the subject of the FArt contest be added here for my convenience.

well im gonna add my ribbon art to the other thread , though can we get the other thread renamed to "deliscious drama and ribbon art " ?

Hmm... wonder what Christopher's entry will be like. He has been very quiet now... for too long. Hope he is all right.

My money's on a no-show at this point.

What reason does he have to enter really? I mean the deck is obviously stacked against him right?
Wassy said if they wanted to continue (the key word being IF ) then a topic would be provided but if not then CR wins. So no entry and he wins. not to mention

a The topic for the finally was chosen by a friend of his competition and seems tailor made to suit Shia (who already whipped up multiple ribbon bondage pieces with little effort) while a quick look through CR's galleries shows nothing even remotely to do with ribbons or tieing stuff up.

b CR's up against a voting handicap too.
Does anyone doubt theres people here who will vote Shia no matter what? Deebs for example has voted Shia pretty much every time two years running and first place 3points every time this year if I remember right. Lets face it Shia could put up a turd and still be guaranteed a certain number of votes and CR would have to earn an equal number just to get an even start. It's the same **** he was up against with Johnnykat. Meanwhile not even CR's obvious friedns who always post in his thread pic his pieces first place every month or even at all sometimes. I think he even had zero vote months before so Cr's been playing fair from what I can tell.

c Also CR never agreed to this extra round or the topic or deadline but that dont seem to matter to most.

d And CR posted way back that he sent pm's to the other people involved about working out a fair way to solve this but when I asked him a few weeks ago if he ever got a reply he said only Pyro answered. Guess shia aint willing to talk.

So his efforts to fix **** get ignored and the topic was rigged and the voting looks to be as well. I'm guessing by all teh silence he aint happy an I cant say I blame him.

Course I could be wrong. Maybe his account is just lapsed or something happened to him or maybe he is hard at work on his pic for the month but I aint heard nothin out of him in a long while so I dont know. Anyone talk to CR recently or see him post somthing somewhere?

Point I'm makin is I wouldn't bother if I were in his shoes, theirs no way he's gettin a fair shake here.

Wassy said CR won in passing, but changed her mind and has officially put down a continuation into this month. It was in the thread.

I picked the topic in jest, but Wassy decided to run with it. No friend of Shia's had any choice in the matter.

I'm a friend of Shia's and I don't always pick him first. I pick whatever I feel like is worthy.

CR didn't have to agree to the finale. If he doesn't show, that's fine. Bayani gave him an incentive to compete, but it's his choice if he wants to or not.

You should ask Shia directly if he got a PM from CR in the first place. Assuming anything is an ignorant move.

While there's plenty of drama to be had around here, the idea that there's a conspiracy to do him in is laughable. Shia's rarely around these parts and if he has more popularity in the contests, then... perhaps it's because people like his art better? And... if I'm not mistaken, that's what an art contest is about, right? Art?

If CR has any kind of negative backlash against him, perhaps it's the notion that once Wassy declared him the winner, he stubbornly stuck with it and has refused to acknowledge that she has now ruled otherwise. I would be angry too, I doubt anyone blames him for being so. But now he refuses to play along and has gone silent. That makes a bad case for him, which people may react to. If anything, it's his own doing. If he really wants to be the FArt champion for 2010, then he needs to suck it down and step up. Otherwise, it's going into the books that he forfeit.

Oh man, this just gets better and better. :3 I wonder how long we can milk this debacle.

You may have picked the topic in jest but that doesn't change the fact that what you chose became the topic (if they chose to continue) and by your own words being a friend of Shia you make my point. I think if say Caemgen got to pick a topic that was a CR specialty and it got made the offcial topic there would be people (including me) crying foul the other way. This is no different.

I never said all of Shia's friends vote him first everymonth just that there are people who do. I'm sure you already know what I'm sayin is true and are just trying to make it about you to draw attention away from that truth. Weak.

Ok good point. So I ask it, Shia did you get a pm from CR and if so did you reply to it or ignore it?

Never claimed it was a conspiracy just that their are things unfairly weihgted against CR and when you see people voting the first place to the same person every single time regardless of what they put up or what the competition puts in that month you can't say it's about the art anymore. Well you could try but nobody buyin that bull **** dude.

Just as you rightly said I should ask Shia before assuming I knew about the pm you should ask CR before you assume he is "refusing to play along" there are plenty of other possibilities for his silence and while it's a good bet he is pissed we dont actually know why he has gone silent.

I don't see it as a forfeit since CR never agreed to anything and WAssy clearly stated he had a choice in the matter. I don't think she gets to declare him the winner then change the official ruling if he doesn't accept the continuance since she clearly left it up to both the contestants to accept the continuance or not. It was clearly written as a choice (IF) and not mandatory.

Had CR agreed to an extra month and then were to pull a no show it would be a clear forfeit. But he didn't so it's not.

CR doesn't need to continue to win and Wassy said his last entry was valid and so then his immunity stands. Personaly I think its a damn ****** way to win but I'd say it's still a win for CR.
(if you are reading this CR a no show would be a totally lame *** finish dude, if you don't care about the money donate it to charity or something)

One other thing that stinks to me. Why the heck is it 5pm (4pm central) instead of midnight like every other deadline has been? Most people who work a day job aren't even home from work by then. I don't know what CR's schedule is like but if he works that cuts him off another whole day. (Shia already has an entry so it dont affect him much)

Also this thread with BAyani stepping in wasn't started until the 8th so if you are going to give a full month why not until midnight the 8th of October? No reason to cut it short dude its not like there is another contest happening or anything that needs this done in a hurry.

It should be the full amount of time to be fair.

Wow Deebs you posted twice in a row and both times you managed to slide right past the part where you offer up any kind of defense or just admit that you are one of the people who purposely skews the vote in favor of Shia no matter what. (wheres the thumbsup icon on this forum lol) Rock on!

you should start a petition to get CR elected FART champion , ya know pass it around , get signatures that you think everything is unfair and slanted against him then present it to Wassy or Bayani for review .

or yaknow you can just pick a new title and bestow it upon him .
