I Love The Market When/Because...
I love the market because this is the first MMO I've ever played where I can really feel like I'm one of the elite players, simply because I can outfit any toon I play with virtually whatever I want to outfit them with.
my lil RWZ Challenge vid
When I see somebody's stack of lowball flipping/crafting bids slowly filling and know that I just need to bid 1 inf higher to get it pretty cheaply and reliably.
And when I run a few missions and find that I got a bunch of junk recipes, most of which are still worth millions if I just toss some salvage at them and craft them.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
I love the market when I get many of the same positive experiences that
many of the other posters have mentioned here. It makes me smile.
I love it when I can lowball a 10 stack of Common IOs on Monday, buy,
re-list, and sell them all for 5X my cost by Friday...
But, I especially love that I can buy a certain recipe directly from the
crafting table, and sell it for a 50% markup on the market ...
Daily... for Years...

I've been rich, and I've been poor. Rich is definitely better.
Light is faster than sound - that's why some people look smart until they speak.
For every seller who leaves the market dirty stinkin' rich,
there's a buyer who leaves the market dirty stinkin' IOed. - Obitus.
When I finish listing a few enhancements and realize that I've just spent more money on listing fees than a lot of people have on all their characters put together.
When I'm looking for things to craft and sell and see a gap that's almost 200 million inf wide.
When I bid less than all the past 5 listings for an item and buy it instantly.
That I can spend a billion inf on a build and still consider it a 'casual' IO build.
That I can gladly spend a million inf for a piece of common salvage just so I don't have to wait for it, because my time is worth much more than a million inf.
You guys converted me about a week ago
In that time, I've made 150 million on a grand total of... ready for it? Four recipes. That's it. I took what I had, pooled my resources, bought a few high end recipes, crafted and listed 'em. Total time invested? Five minutes. Seven if you count the time it takes to hop between WW and the Unviersity.
I love the Market because people are LINING UP to give millions of inf for 5 minutes of work, then running out to spend hours on their fire/kin, while I'm out playing the rest of the game
When I had a bunch of expensive things up for sale, I go to the market and hit "get all inf," and my inf total shoots up by several hundred million.
When the thing I want to buy is selling for a lot, I place my lowball bids anyway, and log in two days later to find they've all filled.

...I buy a crafted IO for less than the cost of the rare salvage required to make it.
...I end up franken-slotted for less than the cost of a set of lvl 50 SOs.
...I buy anything at all for 42.
...I be earnin'.
