Does leaving while having an active subscription count? I left after about 2 weeks after I17 and returned at GR release. I did play a couple of hours every so often, but not as much as I have since GR came out.

If that counts, then tip missions. My Warshade I hardly played since she hit 50. With GR and tips/morality, my Warshade has gotten the dust all cleaned off and is actually played. As a villain now. As well, my Stalker who I hardly played is now a rogue, and is my 2nd most played character these days (not including my Praetorian, who hasn't been active really since she went to Paragon).

So, Tips are great for me.

ATs to 50 - TA/A Def, Nrg/Nrg Blaster, EM/EA Brute, WS,ELM/ELA Stalker

Oh Ninja Run how do I love thee? Let me count the ways....Time passes

Night falls.....

Sunrises.....

Night falls.....

Sunrises.....

Night falls.....

Sunrises.....

I love you THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS Much!

I dont need to pick a travel power because I already have one! All I need now to be happy are corsets, textural revamp of the costume creator and more sit down stances / emotes that dont flash your panties at everyone.

This.

Especially the corsets - I mean, there are a few skin tight numbers that can kind of be made to resemble actual corsets but they're not great.

Got another one, but largely because I can't remember if I was still playing when this was added

The "Last objective in your mission shows up on the map" thing. To quote a friend of mine back in 2004, after we spent an HOUR in Orenbega searching for that last hostage,

"Just let me friggen take 20 on my search check!"

This change, for someone like me who has absolutely zero sense of direction, and can get lost on ANY cave map in the game, is absolutely fan-freaking-tabulous.

Also seconding Lady C on corsets. My goth chick gets by with a combination of Witch and Wedding packs for her 'onstage' outfit/costume, but a proper corset for Costume 3 would rock.

Power customisation and a more 'grey area' approach to the whole 'Going Rogue' system.

I have a lot of characters that occupy a moral grey-area. Having a system in place in the game is a huuuuge affirmation for those characters who aren't good guys, but aren't complete bastards either.

It could be argued that this can be RPed if you've got the skill, which is fine. However, having a system put into the game as a tip of the hat to those who aren't always the bright and shiny good was a real selling point.

More:

1) SKing down no longer prohibiter the use of powers you got at later levels.

2) With toggles on getting held or slept no longer detoggles your toggles so you can keep toggling.

But to be on topic, what did I squee about CoX having that they didn't when I left? Uhm. I'm not sure. Quite a lot of stuff, really. I quit back in i11/i12. Whichever one Dual Blades came out in. I'm not sure which one because I barely played then. The RP community, in my eyes, had degenerated into insular cliques and rampant packs of ERPers. That and a drama with some friends, others leaving, et cetera. Anyway, on topic. I left around i11 or i12. It's now i18. I'm still trying to figure out what all the new stuff is. Yesterday I heard about some lounge for Heroes or Villains that's their reward for staying loyal. Sure, it's new with i18 but I hadn't heard of it before! I still need to go find it.

TL: DR
Community = Yay (Although I still need to find non-Pocket D RP)
i12-i18 = Lots of new stuff for me, yay!
Just so you know, the Hero side lounge is in Atlas Park, its on the map as Fort Trident. Its a sub base with portals to all of the Task Force contacts on blue side. Since the Hero lounge is in their starting zone, I would imagine that the Villain lounge would be in Mercy, just havent bothered going back to Mercy since I got back.

I have to agree with several people here, that the power customization option really made a differance for me on several of my characters, like making Dark powers more black, or making the Demon Summoning powers look more like fire than greenish-yellow magic.

Also, Going Rogue finally let my characters visit the other side of things, without everyone wanting to pound on them. My Widow gets to run around Paragon without a city full of PPD and Longbow trying to arrest/beat her!

It's in Cap Au Diable. Near Mount Diable.

St. Martial's Casino, that was a good looking place with so much potential.

Cap (as someone already pointed out is where the Crucible is) is much more logical a choice than Mercy because Cap is sort-of the closest equivalent that redside has to what Atlas is blueside. Atlas is sort of the "central hub" of blueside, where all the folks hang out and do their business. In the AE craze, Cap AE was what Atlas AE was.

So, as a redsider, Cap makes perfect sense for the location of The Crucible.
