I blame the Dutch personally...once the Dutch get involved all topics turn bad.

Also...random question...why is the Danish called a Danish?

It's not made by Danes...or was it originally made by Danes.

The same way old New York was once New Amsterdam.

Why they changed it, I really can't say, perhaps they liked it better that way.

Good to see you made it to the thread, VTech! 'Specially since smiting you and Ghostie was one of The Spartan Thread's best running gags.

Tomatoes were once called poison apples.

Up was inside

Ugh, I know.

Why'd Constantinople get the works?

It had something to do with the Ottoman Empire, methinks.

The Daleks (second serial of DW) was once called The Mutants.

Well Money equals Power.
Power equals Camel.
Camel equals five celery sticks.

Five. Quid Pro Quo.

Scott Pilgrim is like the bulimic personification of "Win" binged of the legendary "Awesome cake" and then purged into an epic porcelain chamber pot of cool crafted by Thor.

I cannot recommend it enough.

This isn't the right thread for anything anymore. It's a perversion and mockery of itself. It's the fool's throne and a hatter's painting gallery.

Back in the olden days, Romans would eat their fill of a feast, slide a peacock's feather down their throat, and vomit their entire meal off to the side. Completely empty, they'd feast again.

This thread is of a similar chord.

Also, good afternoon to you, Golden Girl.

Through power I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

I spent the weekend with my girlfriend. We went to the beach, ate at Hometown Buffet, watched Scott Pilgrim, and she made me pancakes. Then we went to a thrift store where I managed to get almost all the CDs she's been recommending to me for $2 each. Once we got back to my place, she agreed to try out City of Heroes.

Last week, she didn't know what "MMO" meant and told me she hopes it meant something like "I get to hang out with my boyfriend once in a while". She didn't know what open-ended was and was afraid of games with rotating cameras, claiming they were too disorienting.

She spent 3 hours making her costume. 45 minutes after that, she was explaining to me why Knockback is an annoying effect and that she is more interested in attacks that do superior damage (Like Gash) but don't knock enemies out of her way, as it throws off her fighting style.

This morning, she showed me her favorite coffee place before driving me to work early enough that I got to put all of these CDs onto my iTunes. I booted up my computer in order to find out that I was downloading Going Rogue early.

How do you think I'm doing? This is the best hour of my freaking life.

You?

Judging by the quality of the prequels and new TV series and the quality of the "media" involving the Old Republic, I'd have to agree.

Hey, look. Someone who agrees with me that the prequels weren't half bad.

That's nice to know.

But anywho, the Old Republic is probably better because there isn't so much stuff in it, and most of that stuff is quality stuff.
