Hey, why not? All the fun has been taken away from my defender since I'm not going to do that mission again and I don't feel remotely interested in playing the character without getting my aura.
Honestly, I don't care how good the new cape mission is... I would rather they just left the old one in place instead of screwing up the way the two missions are acquired with the new one.
Maybe I'll just wait... turn villain... get my auras redside, then come back.

But if you want the aura that badly... this is a fifteen minute thing we're talking about. You're still playing the game you presumably enjoy during this time... so I am thrown for a loop by this.
I don't even want to know how you would survive doing work at home or for a job that you don't enjoy and don't want to do... even if it is necessary. I certainly wish vacuuming or doing the dishes was as enjoyable as buying and selling on the market or respecing one of my characters (and those are probably the two activities I find most boring in CoX).

I want the aura, but what I really REALLY want is for the developers to acknowledge the problem and then fix it.

But if you want to help, I'll log in and accept the mission, you can zone around the city to click on pointlessly distant NPCs, then run the final mission for me. And I'll give you a smile and a "thank you" for the effort... but continue to rant how unnecessary it is for completion of the cape mission to be a prerequisite for getting the aura mission.
