(Set me up like that, expect somthin'!

I hope you and your child enjoy it. It seems like a perfect family movie. I love the deadpan dialogue that adults can appreciate.

"I understand you have a bear that is different?" "Hm?" "That can talk."

Oh silly Marcian! <3

I'd love to take both my girls to go see this, but I have a feeling a 7 month old won't get much out of it, and will make the rest of the audience a bit cranky.

Yogi Bear and the Smurfs, will not trigger the end of the world, that honor belongs to the movie that makes me question mankind existence, Sharktopus.

If Sharktopus ate the Smurfs, Yogi Bear and everyone involved in those movies, he would be a hero.

Remember Sharktopus was made by Eric Roberts and he was in Dark Knight and the Expendables.

All right.

I'm a patient person. At least I try to be. But this is absolutely killing me--it's the proverbial elephant in the room and if no one else is going to point this out, I will.

Look at the movie poster. The composition. Then the tag line.

Nuff said.

... new keyboard on lane 2....

anyways, I have to fall into the camp of now actually wanting to see this Yogi Bear flick. Some of the promotional stuff, like that... gutter pun... poster can't be unintentional.

Also: thanks for the Humphrey Bear link. I loved those old Disney cartoons.

I blame myself for making the seeing process opt-in...a month and a half ago. In my defense, there's zero reason to point out promotional material for a film like this except there's something up with it.

Ha! I was surprised to see this thread in the first page again. But I'm glad I checked it again. That poster... OMG! I can't stop laughing!

It's obviously unintentional on their part, as it's supposed to be a play on the old saying "Good things come in pairs". In fact, the tagline wouldn't come off so dirty if it wasn't for the expressions and positions of Yogi and Boo-Boo.
