Shows how much I pay attention. I wonder what the "straw that broke the camel's back" was? I mean there were tons of crazy tags, and people were griping about neg rep attacks all the time. Did some one neg rep/tag one step too far?

Penny: The entire rep commenting fiasco was against their own EULA from the out-set. Nothing you could put in comments was acceptable according to that and various other conversations. I won't say I had a hand in helping that light shine through; I just hope someone else will
Edit: Penny was the only one who would +rep me anyway, so I will miss that 
The rest of the changes smell of....poorly planned "proactive" gut-reactions to possible competition which just happened to have recently (and again very soon) be hitting shelves. Those changes I just shake my head at.

Dark One expressed a theory that the developers and publisher were looking forward towards Going Rogue and deciding to go ahead and bite some bullets "now" in preparation for new players dropping by the forums, some who might have never played an MMO before.
Ergo, it may not have been a straw breaking the camel's back... but more of a "we are going to have to do a cleanup at some point in time, might as well be now"
As to how people feel on it... well... the mods have already locked one how do you feel about it thread and have "politely" asked everybody to respond in the official response thread. That response thread can be found here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?p=3064874

They made at least one change to it within the first month? It was already "not working" way back when. Their "solution" was to psuedo-hide it from the people that didn't want to partake instead of actually letting people opt-out of it completely. Nothing else was really done other than inconsistent moderation; you could report *any* comment done and it would have been deleted.

My total time on coh is inaccurate because I didn't have it installed between late 06 to early this year :\ but the times for the other games I play should be pretty accurate, at least the ones I've been playing recently.

I just realized rep was gone, and then I found the post where they announced all these changes. I guess no one was a huge fan of reputation, but I thought the funny/useless tags were the best part of the system!
How does the rest of Victory feel about this?
