Street Hunting to 50
I think I might have to try this with my Blaster....I can remember doing a lot of street sweeping in the beginning! I don't think the devs like us doing it. We were skipping all their precious content lol.

Itomic wants numbers: I also have an MA-only toon named Mission Architect, but Virtual Lad's origin is way more awesome. How far along on the path is he? |

Super_Ready notes early stuff: Curiosity's getting the better of me. I can see how you could sloooooowly get by with Jump Kick, Air Superiority, and Flurry - but how did you get from 1 to 6? Were you teamed...? |

I got pretty close with my DB/Fire Scrapper, who's sitting at about level 44 from 90% street-sweeping. Before the new mission difficulty settings, it was just the only way to find spawns big enough to justify all those AoEs she packs. Kind of hit a brick wall when I outlevelled all of the non-RWZ/Shard hazard zones, since /Fire isn't fond of the enemies in either zone.

However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator
Yup, that's my boy! Him and his robot babysitter H.A.R.O.L.D.!
"Donnie Gallager was THRILLED when Dr. Aeon opened Architect Entertainment! Accompanied, at the insistence of his mother, by his "babysitting" robot, H.A.R.O.L.D. (Human Adolescent Restriction Of Liberties Device), every day after school he dons the special virtual reality equipment he just got for his 12th birthday and pretends to live the life of a super-hero!" |

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

Back before I16 and the changes to the mission difficulty settings, most of my toons would almost exclusively solo in hazard zones. One of the main reasons I didnt have a lvl 50 vill is the absolute lack of hazard zones redside.
I am really looking forward to GR and being able to do all my hazard zone runs with a brute.
I found early on that the mission complete xp bonus was easily surpassed by the xp of a couple hazard zone spawns, with no travel time whatsoever.
Glad you had fun with it
Last night Solitary, my fire/wp scrapper on Liberty, hit level 50 by only solo street hunting.
He has never been on a team, talked to a contact (other than trainers and stores), or been on a mission. He simply works alone protecting the streets. The process was much more entertaining and rewarding than I thought it would be. Are there any others who have done something similar? |
