Oh, I could trump that story, too. I was just saying what's been happening on Justice lately to way too *many* people. And this individual is quite persistant. I'm not the only one in this thread who has been harrassed/stalked by them.

Anyways, way back when I started playing the game I had someone saying inappropriate things to me repeatedly. Took me forever to figure out how he found me no matter what hero I was on (I had Global Friended him without knowing what it meant.) I had no idea about Globals, Ignore, Hide or anything else at the time. This is my first MMO and I had no idea what I could do.
After a bit of time I discovered I could make him go away, atleast for me anyways. Been relatively quiet for me ever since.
Sorry for the reasons for the threads creation but still happy to see it here.

And yes, petition every single time it happens. If you have them on gignore and they're following you around a zone, zoning with you, getting people to send you tells, petition.
I can trump that story. I once had a player pay lowbies in Atlas 1 million each to
message " You are a ( insert cword followed by bword add a fword and shamoo... add more)!!" to my global account. The funny
thing was many ended with " Im sorry I dont even know you. I just needed the influence."
Long story short the dude paying out all the cash for the harassment was a PVPEC member. Id get roughly 10 tells a night and if I wasnt quick with /ignore even more.
Lol and you guys wondered why I am a bit jaded and extremely no nonsense.
I would add to the op to take note of the times of the harassment and the character name and//or account name of the harrosor. If you can give them specific times and a name they can pull chatlogs and see for themselves.I would reccommend getting one screenie of incriminating dialogue and then an ignore if you actually want to see the player penalized.
This is a sad topic and its a shame it even has to be discussed. Just the basics are outlined in this thread. Harassment can be far more severe than many people realize.It will extend to and be incorporated by social networks ingame to label a player anathema whether justified or not.
This is a social game. The intranets feel as if they provide anonymity to some players. Only real solution is get a thick skin and take measures to avoid such people.
I also want to add the person was NOT a Justice player.
P.s. Mod12 leave my posts the **** alone unless you are going to leave the true context when editing. You are not in my head . Nor did you have my experience in game with harassment. QUIT changing things so that they read completely different than intended.You get a C- for your editing abilities.
