Selling low level enhancements

I read in a post here on these forums, that there is a store in Steel Canyon or in Skyway City that purchases training origin enhancements at a bit of a premium price. Now I can't seem to find the post.

So am I imagining things or does such a place exist? I'm pretty much a noob, but actually played for a few months at the original release.

Hi Shillelagh

I think the store you are looking for is called Freedom Corps. On the ingame map it is called just "Store." I know there is one in both Talos and Skyway...not sure about other zones.

If you take the base Transporter to Skyway City, it drops you off right in front of one.

Hope I helped a bit.

Lisa.

You get the same slightly higher price at any of the low level vendors in Atlas, Galaxy and Kings Row and the "store" in Skyway and Steel, IP and Talos. You also get the same max price from the vendor in the Vangard base, The Midnight Club and Cimerora, but those vendors buy everything at max price.

You get a slightly lower price (I think it is 30% lower, but I'm not sure at the moment) at any origin-based store in Steel, Skyway, Talos, IP, Faultline, Striga, Croatoa, Bricks, Founder's and PI. I'm not sure about the Shard.

I haven't checked this recently but it use to be a correct origin store gave you 40% of the sell price and an incorrect origin store game you 24% of the sell price.

Well I knew it was either 24 or 26% for the wrong store origin. And the 40/26 rule is true at any standard origin stores in non hazard or PvP zones. I never thought of Ghost Falcon, Mr. Lin or the stores contacts in Croatoa as "standard" stores.

Thanks all. I'm digging in, and will develop a feel for this as I get experience with duals and singles.

Not to trivialize the experience, but you can generally go to wentworth's, and find level 50 yellow recipes (which sell to stores for 5,000 each) in big stacks for under 1,000 . Check the unpopular things like snipes, sleeps, confuse, immobilize and slow. (if that fails, try the 41-46 range, which sell for a little over 4000.) Once you've made your first 100K or so, stop doing it- there are much better ways of getting inf in the game. That's just something to get you through DO's.

Many many issues ago selling Training Origin enhancements to the "store" (the red and white clad individual as opposed to the actual storefront across the zone) by Mynx in Skyway used to give you a better price than selling them elsewhere.

Such is no longer the case.

Re: What Fulmens said...
If you want to make a little money quick, do go to WW and buy level 50 SO's and DO's for under 3000 or so. Run over to the "store" next to Miss Liberty and sell them for around 14k each. If you go through the Vanguard Building to RWZ you can get around 18k for them, but, since you're just running back and forth, you have to decide if that's past the point of diminishing returns.

There was a challenge a while back to see if a person could make 2m in 30 minutes starting from the beginning of character creation. I got 640k doing the above technique. But this is very limited since a level 2 can only use two bidding slots.
