Anyone going to make the trek to NYC for the Dev Meet N' Greet at the New York City Comic Con in October?

Shame that NYC is a hole.

Look out, devs, Viv is on a mission!

I do wish just once that there would be something they would attend in the middle of the country. Kind of sucks for a lot of people.

They don't make bad movies based on escaping cities unless that city is, indeed, a hole. *shrug*

As for the meet and greet, I'd go.

I've already forgotten about most of you

More like I'm just going to be traveling, so I'm doing a little "Tour de Viv". I'm heading southward.

Yeah, there was a lot of player lobbying for GenCon in Indy and next to none (that I recall seeing) for NYCC, so I don't know where they're pulling their data from. That being said, I saw the dev team when I went to GenCon 5 years ago and it was pretty nifty. Still have all sorts of swag.

NYC is not a bad place. It gets a bad rep from TV and movies but in reality its nothing like that anymore.

I would absolutely go if it was in IN. Anywhere in Indiana is less than a 6 hour drive, while NYC is nowhere less than 10 Hours or so.

Since I've lived here all my life I can def say its not as bad as it once was. In the 70's and 80's it was a real horrid place. Now its just like most any city busy, hectic and more than a little off putting for those not used to the big city but it is most certainly not a hole.

NJ isn't too bad, as long as it's away from the Phili/NYC sprawls. Trying to get out of this state, though. Looking at a job in Pittsburgh and Syracuse.

Hmm, I wasn't even aware of the event happening here. I'll most likely end up going.
