Tanker Tuesday Returns to Virtue!

Hi all,

Tanker Tuesday turns to Virtue on June 22nd. Tanker Tuesday is a player run all Tanker team event. It usually last about 2 hours and during that time we run missions, Task Forces, Trials or anything else the game has to offer. All players, power sets, and levels are welcome, as long as you're a Tank!

We meet in King's Row by IP Gate (line up on the wall please, it makes team selection much easier) at 6pm PDT\9pm EDT and get things rolling from there.

If anyone has a suggestion for a TF or trial to run, please let us know. As a default we can look at running Synapse (usually allows greatest number of folks to participate).

So if you don't have a Tank, now's the time to roll one up and get it ready! If you already have a Tank bring it to our Tanker Tuesday Reload!

You know, tanks are the only AT that I have never leveled above 5... perhaps I should change that.

Weatherby, I hear what you're saying. Tanks really don't come in to their own until the SOs get kick in, and then really take off in their 30s. In the Tanker forums it's a common complaint/question from folks trying Tanks for the first time, or that have had them stuck at the lower levels. I'd say give TT a try. You'll get to see all levels, Power Sets, and play styles in action. And hopefully we can put a few levels on your level 5er.

KillerWhale, yes, there should be a bunch of Tanks in one place at one time. Once you're on a team, go crazy (it's usually a mad rush of Tanks to the mobs resulting in a scrum of Tanks colliding with hapless goons, mayhem ensues and nothing is left standing).

I still plan on being there! Might be a couple mins tardy.

If I'm able, I'll come. Depends on whether my exile is over.

Yet another fun idea... Hope I can make it w/ one of mine. (now I have to choose between the knockback fun or the tanking fun. :/ )

hmmmm...rolled a ice/shield Tank awhile back and stalled out at lvl 19, this might be a good kick-butt start

i've had great fun smushing stuff with my tanks on other TT's
just kinda sad i think my work schedule is gonna keep me away from more TT's, so i urge others to come on out and fill in for me

Constant (and anyone else) if you're late to the event announce when you get on on one of the two channels above (TTs tend to have more chat on the TankHQ channel, so try that one first) and we'll try to get you on a team. Or you can send me a tell (I think Shield Strike is my Tank on Virtue) and I'll try to get you placed.

I think I need all the TFs on my Tank here so I'm open for any suggestions.

One week until Taker Tuesday returns to Virtue! If you don't have a Tank already, roll one up! If you do, bring them to King's Row, by IP Gate at 6mp PDT\9pm EDT and we'll get you set up on a team.

I don't think we've decided on a TF yet, so if you've got any ideas please post them here.

Also, if I can get some of the Virtue home server Tanks to talk the event up in the channels it helps the turn out.

I had fun on the posi, even if we had a few face plants from our doubles, and the ambush in last mish.

Thanks Tanker Tuesday. Got two more levels under my belt on my Fire/Mace tank.

So this month has 5 tuesdays, where's the next TT? I'll prob have to start a new tank!

Aaaaaaand I completely missed it after all! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, and I hope to bring National Capital or the Malleable Mechanic next time.
