If not having a perfectly completed (is there such a thing even?) entry meant you were out of the contest there would be very few people left indeed and the prior years would have been over much sooner.
You may not get as many votes as with a completed piece but as long as Wassy declares that it meets the requirements for the month you are still in it U-naught.

My clock could have been weird, but I did have an alarm for 12 to check the thread and make note of the entries. I did see U-Naught's up, and that CR was having issues getting everything up at once.

It let's you go through the whole process then says you've reached the limit as soon as you hit submit and rejects any further attempts.
I don't think that cap has ever been an issue until now because no one has ever been crazy enough to submit 5 pages worth of stuff for one months contest before.
Those who have done multi-page work (like Pyro previously or Lousy this month) usually combine them into some fancy flash animation so in the eyes of the site it's still one "page."
So I ended up putting all of them up to my personal gallery instead and then linking them here.
Yeah, that was no problem CR. Wasn't surprised when you mentioned there was a cap.

So, I hadn't submitted my (ahem) "entry" to the COH group on DA (because I was sure I'd missed the deadline) - so, Wassy, shall I do that now?
You can submit it. As far as my last official check, I know I saw yours and that CR couldn't put everything up all at once. If it starts a firestorm, I'll take the flak.

Well, this was a pretty interesting month. I don't know about anyone else, but this one took its toll on me.
I haven't seen the "vote" thread pop up yet, which made me wonder...just how many of this month's submissions really qualified for this round's theme? I was trying to keep track on all the discussion about "what if" stories actually being a retcon, etc. I was also trying to keep my subject a low-key one and about cracked when I read about - has someone jumped on doing a retcon on LR? I was like, d'oh!
I for one was hoping to see more of the guys that had a chance to come back really do something amazing and get back into this. However, I can relate to this time of year somehow sucking the life force out of you. So dang hot here...
Anyways, some cool/fun interpretations of characters - I hope w/e you have chosen to occupy your time with more U-Naught that you somehow make time to draw every now and then!

Well it's up on DA... I can shrink the pages and post it here as well if people want but it will take some time.

My original goal was 10 pages, multiple panels on every page... however each panel is made up of multiple drawings and they took many hours each to draw and then more time to scan, crop, orient, and write in text for. In the end I rewrote the story and crammed it all into 5 pages... the end result is very text laden so my apologies for that.
I will post up a bunch of WIP's in my NewArtz thread over the next few days plus stuff I drew that didn't make it into the final revision (I literally finished this last rewrite 10 minutes before the deadline... phew!
I lost count of how many hours I spent drawing and writing... (and rewriting... and rewriting again and then drawing some more etc etc
Edit: Hahaha well it turns out there is a limit to the number of pages I can submit per day to the City of Heroes Group.
Pages 1, 3, and 4 are there but I'll have to submit pages 2 and 5 tomorrow... which is like a half hour away for my time zone.
Whatever... all the pages are posted in the correct order in my gallery (individual links posted below...) so use those until I can get that FArt submissions folder straightened out.
