Since Practiced Brawler is the most critical of the three click-powers for your survival, I would put it on auto-fire.
You can also tie Rage or some other power to the SHIFT key and have some powers be triggered by SHIFT + 1 ... 5 or something. That way Rage will auto fire anyway when you press SHIFT.
Practiced Brawler, hands down.
Brawl. I never, ever, EVER place Hasten, Rage, or Practiced Brawler on Auto. Hasten is bound to MULTIPLY (* on the Numpad), and Rage is bound to ADD (+ on the Numpad). If I was /SR, Practiced Brawler would be bound to NumpadEnter.
Since my left hand is pressing the buttons to execute my attacks, and my right hand only presses N to target_enemy_near, it's very easy to move my right hand to the Numpad to press the button I need. And Multiply is easy to remember, because Hasten "multiplies" my Recharge, while Rage "adds" damage. From there, it's easy to hit NumpadEnter.

Honestly, I put powers like hasten, PB, and rage at the end of the first power tray, and use them whenever they're available (just as if they were attacks) for the most part.That way you can avoid situations where having something on auto prevents you from using another power at a crucial moment. That said, practiced brawler would be my top pick for putting on auto.
Hasten, PB or Rage on auto? I would do PB for sure. No PB- you are mezzed and dead. The other two can be applied when you have the time. There was a thread on this same subject matter not too long ago.

I've got an SS/SR brute that I'm loving but I'm wondering which to tie to my auto power.
Rage (need the double stack for no -def) Practiced Brawler (Who doesn't love mez protection) and Hasten (speed speed speed)?
I was thinking PB cause the mezzes would be the worse but I really don't know now.
