Well we will be losing access at some point for gr closed beta but that is a bit extreme.
Gonna back up my data as soon as I get home.
They may do it on a seperate updater and server. This was the case when they were beta testing CoV many years ago.

Happened to me as well. All .pigg files after playerMale.pigg (in alphabetical order) are gone.

Seems to be fixed as of 15:20 EST. At least it's downloading a new sound.pigg atm.

Yes, the launcher wiped out the piggs folder, so...
Recopied Test backup; all is good. 8.12am local 5.7Mb patch and into game, earlier patch was at 1am local, approx 3Mb
p.s. there was a night's sleep in between then and now
