Being Taunted to death must be very humiliating.

I love the sewers... I think they're one of the best parts of the game, and the fact that redside doesn't have a real analogue for them is sad.

Also, there's a nifty trick that lets you level from 1-50 in the sewer, and do it in pretty good time too...

Thanks for sharing the story! It makes me want to go join a sewer team right now...

It would be nice if it happened more often, but we would not appreciate as much, alas.
True words! I don't PUG often, but yeah, I have definitely had that experience a select few times!

That is a great point! I never really considered that aspect before.

Ditto.

And LISAR... If I were able to hop on right now, I'd join ya!

it was the lack of new sewers too run threw that people complained about.

Rubbish.

Most of the 'community' I see are interested in missions more than Farms.

Don't blame AE for you not having globals channels/friends that share interest in fun stuff.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

I've been on a PUG Frostfire that went like this. Was really fun.

there's a groups of 30 or so of us on our server that like to run TFs every day. Maybe 2/10 of them will roll like this.

The last time I had this experience, it was on an ITF. We had a bunch of scrappers, blasters, VEATs, a rad corr and I was playing kin. With the debuffs and capped damage (FS), the romans were melting away like butta.

Triumph Lurker: mintmiki 50 emp/archer
basically, if you see a miki on Triumph, it's probably cute and it's probably me.

Huge thanks to cuppamanga and all the folks in the mac help forum for prolonging my borrowed time on this game.

Nah, that's obvious, and I'd thought of it, but it requires finding new teams all the time as the PuG you're with outlevels the sewers...

I can't take credit for this because someone else came up with it, though I realized what they were doing immediately when I saw this character... Basically they used their second account to make a new toon, levelled it up to level 5, and then turned off xp on that toon. Then they just used that toon to lead sewer teams.

The team stays sidekicked to level 5 permanently, with access to powers up to level 10. This means they can sweep back and forth in the juiciest part of the sewer, fighting a constant stream of purples that aren't all that threatening, and make a pretty surprising amount of exp. I actually got one of my 50s teaming with them

People make fun of me for taking higher level characters on sewer runs, but they're so much fun! And the advantage is, as the team leader levels up, I get powers unlocked for use. Plus, if it's not a 50, I still get xp. Win-win-win!

But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!

This Made me smile from ear to ear! I have always loved doing sewer runs! The farthest I've ever gotten was from Atlas to Skyway...and you made it to Boomtown? I applaud you and the guys that made it with you. Sewer runs are the best times to be had if you can find a dedicated team to trek with.

Me: You're right about that. Power Blast is very pretty from a certain point of view. But that point of view is not head-on. <Kaboom> - Arcanaville.

Cool story. I don't really like Sewer teams, but that does seem entertaining.

I've been having fun with an all-catgirl team that some friends and I made as a joke. But as it happens we've played them 2 nights in a row now, and we are all level 15-17. Good times. Our 4 catgirls are Plant/TA, Illusion/Storm, FF/Energy, and DualBlades/Willpower. Poor scrapper kitty.

Sounds very cool - glad you had fun!

I may have to try that some time. Groups I've been in usually want to beeline to get their Raptor pack in KR, so we normally take the pain train out well before that.

I did have fun one time we went through to Skyway - that's been a while back, though.

People don't seem quite as desperate to get the raptor pack now that ninja run is around...

I know I haven't been - which suits me fine as I hate having a schedule forced upon me as to what I can and can't (or "should") do at any certain level.
