I do like the idea of the 22nd of May though. If, according to rumors, a team of 16 - 30 can take down the mighty quivering bowl of Jell-o, I'd be interested in giving it a shot for S&G this weekend if anybody's up for it.

Yeah, pets are no beuno anymore unless your attempting to go for some interesting feat.
A test run is always good, even if its failed or lack of people or W/E -- it gives the people a chance to see how its going to go down and what they need/will be doing. Plus its all for fun!

Just tell me what you need and I'll make sure (if I have that type of toon) will have bio nukes. I have an elec/emp that has a hold, BS/SD scrapper, I'm working on a fire/kin & ill/rad that's not up there yet but if you need them I'll work on them to get them up to par for a raid.
Didn't we have a successful raid July/Aug 2009? I remember it cause I had to live with my parents 2 months waiting for my new trailer to be moved in & installed.

Well I and the UPP are definitely down for this. We have several EoEs stored in the base from failed attempts in the past. I am available the most on Saturday so a test run on the weekend of the 22nd sounds good to me and then we can do the main event in June if we need more time.
I personally have been waiting for this because it reminds me of the times when Liberty's biggest and baddest would show up at cowards rock for a great time of fun, fighting, and friends.

As I have offered before( like many others from the Champion server) I'd be ready to transfer an Alt to liberty to help you guys out.
I have a couple toons I can transfer depending on what is needed but I always had the support/control/range job on our server.

Not a bad overview, although tactics have changed some. I would recommend adding a Yellow Mitos taunt team. This team has 6 tanks and 2 emps. Idea is to pull the PBoA away from the yellow mitos and out to the tanks, taunting at max range. Then you can swarm the yellow mitos without fear of damage, the need for CM, etc.
If you want to be cautious and don't care about time, clear the yellows, then clear the blues, then clear the greens then hit hami. But you can easily have assault teams clearing the blues while the yellows are going down then everyone concentrates on the greens. Or, if most of the characters have a hold, then you can have one assault team start working on the greens as everything else is being cleared. (And the yellow taunt team can join the fray as their taunt target is taken down.)
The vet power, Assemble The Team is great for evacuating the jello and if possible, 2 characters on each team should have one. (3 will be needed when we get faster because of the 30 minute recharge time, but to start it might go slowly so the first character's assemble might have recharged by then.) But even if there is no ATT it is very possible to run like crazy and get out of the goo before the bloom kills you, even on a flyer.
I have a bunch of EoEs so if someone wants to collect some in advance I'll be happy to email them over. I think I have 15 or 20 sitting in the storage bin.

That is just a general overview of hami, since some people have either not done a hami raid or not done it since pre-i9.
The strategy Liberty goes with will hopefully be similar to what a Champion raid leader suggested: Hami taunt team, yellow taunt team, scrapper assault team, ranged assault team.

I'll join, I'd like to run one at least once. No need for test runs in a video game. Lets run it, if we fail, lets run it again.
How often do you all do test run mothership raids?
I vote for the Champion dude as leader. Or hazy. Or Camo if we can tear him away from PBS long enough to lead one.

Here is my 2 inf on the "test run". The only thing I would make sure to do before you actually start a hami raid is make sure in advance that the team leaders meet and know what they are expected to do and how to communicate that information to the rest of their team.
Unlike the old hami, the pressure in the new one isn't all on the "Hami Lead" but on everyone. Each individual team have their job to do and if one can't do it, the raid will not succeed. So, having each team lead know exactly what their team should be doing, when and where to be, will greatly augment your chance of success.
I never lead a raid, I've been on secondary team range lead before so I know what is expected for those position. If you want a more detail explanation of what each team lead should be doing, i'm sure Amygdala, Major tom or Cherry-2000 can help you out. They are the "usual" Hami leader on Champion.
Well I hope I am not overstepping my bounds with this but I am sure that we can use the UPP vent for the leaders to be able to communicate to one another. Not too worried considering we can change the password whenever we need to and also that it would be good to hear some new voices (other than the ones in my head.)
Figured that could help out with the communication part. This looks like a job for the Roundtable

Well ... I'm not independently wealthy yet so I can't actually afford to transfer a character. But I have been working feverishly leveling a tank (who I fear will not be ready by this weekend unless some miracle happens.) I will do whatever is superhumanly possible to try to make it though.
As far as leading the raid, I think Hazy should do it. He has already done a bunch of research and will do a good a job as anyone save for one of the regular raid leaders from Champion or Virtue transfering over to lead. I've not even lead an assault team but have been able, playing an emp on the yellow taunt team, to have the luxury to observe a lot of what is happening. For the raid setup it is important to have Ventrillo or something similar so the leaders can communicate quickly. I don't have a mic, so I can't participate.
Anyway, anyone have room on their team for a tank who wants levels ASAP?

You guys act like it has never been done on liberty and it is an insult to those of us that lead several completed raids on this server. Thats ok we never had help from other servers and if you looked hard enough out of your own little click of players you would find ppl on the server that know how to do this and how to lead it.
