Demons are Live! How'd you do it?
I've made a Demon/Pain, and Demon/Storm. Respectively, the Master of Agonies, a mage who uses the mystic energies of pain to tear open gateways to hell and empower his minions. And Damia Hellsblood, daughter of a heroine named Stormlash with of course storm powers; Damia in teenage rebel mode went slumming in the darker occult circles, and at a demon summoning discovered that the demon in question was her real father. It turned out her mother had her own wild youth...although not as wild as Damia, once she started taking lessons from Daddy. Which, when Stormlash showed up following up leads about dark magic activity, resulted in a family reunion that went really, really poorly.

Great concepts! I especially like the one about the family reunion.
I made a Demon/Thermal because I had never run a /Thermal powerset, though I was SORELY tempted to do /Dark.
The concept for my toon is a girl that always found a fascination with the occult and continued to "dabble" more and more until she let in something that she couldn't handle. Her Bio is written from the Demon's perspective.
I made a DS/Poison MM last night and got her to lvl 13 with a great team. Poison worked well in the team setting, as we were of course taking on high-level enemies, and Envenom and Weaken really helped. I'll see this weekend how well it does solo.

I'm going with DS/Poison with the concept being my character makes the enemies hallucinate that there are demons there when there actually aren't.

Going to run a Demon/Poison as well since my character represents Hubris. Demons represent Faustian deals where someone gains power, but suffers in the end and Poison represents a strong enemy losing their power. Basically, my character is about bringing down all the people that are overconfident or arrogant.
The first step in being sane is to admit that you are insane.
My eventual plans for a Demon/Poison are for a character who got his powers through a blood transfusion from a demon. Which will explain why he can spit and breathe poison instead of just flinging it.
I also plan a heroic Demon/Traps who will be a scientist who is investigating magic and demons rationally and scientifically. He didn't learn those mystic runes out of a dusty tome or sell his soul for them - he calculated them!

Demon/Dark is what i'd go with, see my post on the build I made, its pretty awesome w/ 45% ranged defense and stuff.
I have a lvl 22 Demons/ Traps and so far it's been a good run... got 18 levels in a few hours on launch. 7 or 8 man mm teams go alooong way with the amount of dark, pain, thermals i had on the team. On a team I think Traps is really strong, particulaly because of Force Field Generator. Solo, I think I will not be breezing through my +1/+2 missions until Demon Prince and particularly Seeker drones with the -tohit and -dmg.

I made a DS/D MM and joined in the fun last night. Joined a group "lowbies lf1more". Team consisted of 7 DS MM's and one VEAT We had the diff upped to +3 I think Tons o' fun Made it to lvl 10 in time for bed.
