Going to be on the road for a week or so. At best, I'll be late for tomorrow and might miss the next two games entirely.

So GR and CoX 2?

Or is that just wishful thinking?

Mental, you're in charge. Don't let us down.

Also a reminder, I17 is patching in today so don't wait till the last minute to try and log in people or you could be massively late.

Might as well ask now: Who knows for sure they are going to be distracted by the new shinies tonight, and doing something else?

I'll be on for the group, because I'm a team player. And I'm here for you guys. <3

I don't see why shinies and Isos are mutually exclusive. Don't the new Doppleganger arcs start at 25? Let's do those tonight!

Target level for next week is 36-37.

We've had two teams for the past two weeks. I wonder if things will pick up when we do Isolators: The Praetorian Edition. That will probably be the session after next, though.

Are we just slacking off the entire time?

I'll be able to join in again after this week, as our semester is just about over (just have finals left). I am going to be out from the game for a little bit at the end of May, as I will be out on vacation for a bit. I also have to figure out how much time I'm going to re-up my account for, as that's going to expire just before the vacation (luckily).

Not sure if I should join in with my VEAT or my lowbie Dom or Corruptor. The VEAT is at 29, at least.

Shamster was late because he was in a PUG LGTF. But he did not read up about the patch notes, which Castle has something interesting to say about it. :O

He goes on to say he might/probably will lower that change a bit, but yeah, that's a ***** thing to drop on people out of the blue IMO.

Bone, cya man.

Eh. If you read further on in the thread, Castle backpeddles a bit more after people pulled out their calculators to show what kind of team is required to overcome a mag 50 hold protection. I'll be interested to see what is decided. (Lets face it, the green mitos were pretty much a joke in that mission.) In the mean time, however, it looks like the LGTF is still essentially bugged for all but a fairly tuned team.

It is this kind of issue that makes me wonder if the Devs actually play the game. I'm not going to point fingers at anyone in particular. However, lets consider what would have happened if out of the box this -50 vs 50 mag hold protection snafu had not occurred. It would have been very similar to the LRSF situation. Remember when only very tuned teams completed the LRSF and certain ATs and power sets need not apply?...

But what do I know? I still think it was a bad decision to "fix" the LGTF so levels 35-44 could no longer sk into the TF.

Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven.

If he honestly thinks that much stacked mez from a mixed team is reasonable to expect to complete the TF, especially for that encounter with so much damage coming down, then the man is on crack.

Lady Grey was a good TF that you could complete on any mixed team. If he changes it to a bullcrapfest like LRSF, then it will be played at the rate or less of LRSF; barely at all.

Anything that prevents wacky novelty runs of TFs (all-sword, all-gun, all one AT, all-dark) is a Bad Thing™ IMHO. They should revert this change. And I'm a huge fanboi, so you know something is up if I disagree with the devs...

.....you're just itching to get the pistol guy you can't solo PL'd more. Your opinion is biased and this is nothing but propaganda

Supposedly, it was to be exactly like the open raid version of Hamidon. When LGTF was first put out, I was worried it was going to be just like that and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't actually that focused; you still had the melee or ranged-only damage mitos, but the Greens could be taken out any way, but could heal if you didn't have the damage, yet could be held (reasonably easy....they are supposed to be weakend, right??) to stop the uber-healing so you could widdle them away.

For me, as it was prior to I17, tied in terms of "fun" with the sister mission (though I get giddy doing the alien ambush jig with the yellow mitos); with this change, I think the sister mission is "more" fun.

Actually, my Blaster is pretty soloable. I did get creamed when I tried my first ITF, though... Masque got progess toward healing badges that don't exist yet.
