Yup.
I could use 2 billl infamy for my influ.
1) are u still doing this
2) are you still trading infamy
3) whats the converaion rate for 2 bill
4) is it email? i would prefer server triumph trade

Since my change in rates to 1-->.95 for your Influence to my Infamy and 1-->.9 for your Infamy to my Influence I have received 3.249B Influence and 3.549B Infamy.
Since Issue 17 I have been sent a total of 17,352,000,100 Inf.
Actually, I've been sent a little more than that. One person sent me near the e-mail cap of Influence and I returned the appropriate amount in Infamy. A short time later the same person sent me near the cap of Infamy. A few quick tells sorted out the 2nd e-mail was a mistake, the 2nd e-mail was returned, and all was good.
The moral of the story is "yes, I do want to take some of your money" but I will only take what you explicitly and intentionally consent for me to take.

I also do it but mainly for people who are desperate to do the exchange NAO! at a stupidly good rate (for me)....or when I need to move some from side to side the other direction myself.
Like for example......I'd probably beat Smurphy's rate going from blue ---> red at the moment because I need 30B more redside for a personal project. But going the other way I'd be likely to gogue since I don't want Influence atm.
So if anyone wants to hunt me up and see what my whim of the moment is I'm often on my main Eris Enyalios on Freedom or can be reached at @Ferrum Ignis.

Exchange closed at the present time. My e-mail box is full so I cannot receive further funds. Those e-mails sent to me will be auto-returned.

So far I have received a total of 32,382,000,000 Inf from a total of 26 different people. Any amount, big or small, is acceptable. Please don't send me multiple billions at once. Feel free to send 1 billion wait for me to respond, then send another or give me a heads up that you want to do huge amounts.

I was just told in Freedom Atlas Park (a haven of knowledge and world's greatest place to get advice on City of Heroes) that my exchange service is doomed when Going Rogue comes out. The person went on to explain how one could simply buy salvage or other items, change side, and then sell them.
I decided against explaining to him how my services might be more beneficial than his idea and simply told him I'd copy down his global and comments for entertainment purposes once Going Rogue comes around.

I sent out a broadcast in Atlas Park on Freedom yesterday that advertised my exchange service. I do about 1 broadcast a day. A person responded that I was "a snake in the grass". I got him to elaborate and he said "you know as well as I that you can't trade Influence and Infamy". I responded "Hence my service." He said he was reporting me. I asked him to make sure he spelled my global name properly --> @Smurphy --- and I gave him a link to this thread. If I could have business cards, bumper stickers and a promotional hat I would have given him some of those too.
I thought it was funny so I mentioned it in /chanjoin "TheMarket". One person mentioned that I'm not really directly exchanging Influence and Infamy because you can't directly convert them. I explained that I do Influence and Infamy exchanges exactly how currency is exchanged in real life. He tried to further explain how I'm not truly converting it. I explained how "when you go to a currency exchange they don't take your euros, whoop out a paint brush, and draw them into dollars. They don't take your yen, shred them, and reprint them as pounds. They take whatever currency you have, put it in their safe, and give you some other type of currency. That's what I do. You give me one side, I put it in my pile of money, and give you the other side. That's an exchange."
Well... at least I thought the dialogues were funny. Soon after I was sitting on my toon in Virtue, I walked away, came back and I saw "you have been disconnected from the server" message. My connection is pretty stable and I don't get timed out because I start up random AE arcs to prevent the auto-time-out. I thought "no way the report actually worked!" Then I noticed Virtue crashed.
Oh, I'm still open by the way. No promotional hats yet.

I spent, or my brother spent, or somebody spent a bunch of my Influence while I wasn't paying attention. Maybe I misplaced it. Whatever the cause is I cannot find as much Influence as I'd like.
Through Monday your Influence to my Infamy at 1 to 1.
