The other day I got a PVP IO drop from killing one of my buddies in the arena. Since PVP is dead now on Infinity, the ratio for this particular toon was something like 15 PVP kills before my first drop. So I felt pretty lucky to have gotten a drop after only killing 15 or so people.
Yeeeeah, i have had ZERO pvp drops since they came out so i call bollocks on that so called 1/100 - 300 kills.
Then again i can count the number of purple drops i have had on one hand so i might just have extremely bad luck.
To be fair though Seph, you're not the most active PvP'er.

That is true hence i would not complain if i had seen a single drop, which i have not and i have probably pvped more then you think to be honest.

In any hour you can have 12 rep worthy kills from a single opponent. That means that to have 300 rep worthy kills from a single opponent you need to kill them every five minutes for 25 hours.
I might have picked the wrong words for that, i meant that i find it really frustrating when people get drops all the time and i have no pvp drops and extremely few purple drops to show and yes i have tried farming then.

Whats' even worst is that when I take over your farms or flat out killing both your toons peeps are getting mad at me.. ?? scuse me, but it's a pvp zone and farm at your own risk. I'm not getting any damn drops so you think I want farmers pulling all the drops? Before I never cared, but now i'm starting to get pissed. This is just another fine example of farmers ruining the drop rate due to the devs trying to prevent farming, which of course,... you CANT!
Sigh.. only thing I can do is keep petitioning the devs about the NO pvp recipe drop rate for my non 50 toon and keep killing everything I see. I just think it's sad, farmers can just set up two toons and go to bed and get pvp recipes allot and someone pvp'ng for real and killing allot and spending much time in zone can't get jack. I'm only grumbling because I want to make this fortunata my pvp toon, but hell, why should I if I can't get drops with it.
I used to be able to pull pvp recipe's with lower level toons but now it's been a no go. And I like to thank the gm's and devs out there for ignoring petitions sent completely on the matter. hehehe.

Personally, I think it could be that pesky bug we had in pve that prevented the drops from occuring normally, except when they copied the code over, it could have copied the bug over.
Call me an optimist, but I have yet to beleive the devs are as stupid as they seem, even if I have been calld out by one. :\
I believe all are valid rep kills.
No, they are complaining because I'm messing up their farms and that's it. They believe they have a right to farm in a pvp zone or something without interference.
It's the devs that changed the drop rate trying to stop or slow down something you can't slow down or stop, so I throw it all on them. : D
I've pvp'd allot. Even after I13 I continued to pvp, but all but stopped one day when my new favorite toons lost their nice powers in pvp zones. I started again when the pvp recipes started.
Yeah the devs could care less about pvp. They tried to do something that most were against and didn't listen with I13(yeah it was a pride thing Castle, I know), so they are ignoring everything pvp now.
I am thinking there is a bug as well since I just can't get a pvp recipe with this toon and another one I use in pvp. But it only happens with lower level toons as my 50's still get pvp drops.

They should make drops go both ways.
When one player has a chance to get a PvP drop, the other player gets a chance for a PvP drop too.
Everyone knows that nubby stalkers get the most PvP drops of all.

Just as an update the week I posted the above I spent 5 days farming for 1.5-2 hours a day, I recieved 5 PvP IOs (2 one night, none the final night). By the weekend I just got bored of farming.
I'll probably end up doing the same this coming week. For now i'm bored of farming people.
And Xan, sweety. If PvP IOs were granted only to people who actually PvPed, you would never have pvp IOs.
The sentiment that PvP IOs should reward PvP skill is ridiculous and stupid. No one has that anymore.

Never really saw the big deal about the changes myself as the former pvp system was so flawed it couldnt really be called pvp so anything was an improvement in my opinion anyway.

Dualboxing and killing the same toon over and over again, normal pvp or setting up a group of different people trying to farm it?
