So Caemgen's backstory basically is just an overly complicated explanation to why he's Natural origin and not any of the others? Hmm... Aliens are also considered "natural" origin, even though they are not "natural" to Earth, they are "natural" to their own world.
There is a race of aliens on a distant planet that all look very similar to Caemgen, though their features are much more distinct and less human-like. One day a scout ship of theirs was studying Earth and ran into an especially large piece of space debris, crashing to the ground. While he was making repairs to his ship, he came across Caemgen's mother. One thing led to another, and seven and a half months later, Caemgen was born. The ship however only took two months to repair, and before leaving, the scout wiped the mother's memory of the encounter.

(For #3: While his mother was pregnant, she was given a lovely antique metal lamp as a baby shower gift. Polishing it up, she was surprised when a genie appeared, and told her she was to receive three wishes. She decided to hang on to them while she thought of what to wish for.
That night, when hubby got home, he started getting a bit frisky. The slightly hard of hearing genie must have gotten a bit confused when he heard her say something about "horny devil".)

3. Well, here is my theory: Millenia ago, there was a race of people who resembled demons complete with wings and gracefully curling horns. Oddly enough, they were peaceful, only fighting when their homes were threatened.
There was intermarriage between that race and a few of the emerging humans (although this was discouraged -those who married humans were shunned and cast out). Unfortunately, the majority of the demonic race were destroyed when a meteor hit the Earth...the same cataclysmic event that eventually killed the giant dinosaurs as well. There was only a couple of survivors who had married humans and moved away. Their offspring were decidedly human in appearance, and so, the race of peaceful demons passed from the face of the Earth.
Their genetic material survives though, and once..every hundred generations or so, the right DNA sequencing occurs..and a throwback appears. Sadly, often he is shunned, as his ancestors were.

This is for number 4:
I've been having a rough time lately.
I had been planning to go to the Meet and Greet (in fact, I had bought a nice blouse for it at a thrift store), but when the Nor'easter hit, I discovered that there were 4 leaks in the ceiling...up from 2 the last year..which I had been assured had been fixed.
We decided to start apartment hunting, and the money I had put aside for transportation to and from the Meet and Greet (via the T's transit program for the handicapped) became earmarked for apartment hunting expeditions instead. So far, two areas of town have been ruled out, and I'm doing callbacks tomorrow,despite what hubby says (he says I should wait..)
At the same time, I decided to leave an SG due to reorganization- and another to reroll a toon (giving said toon a new powerset and name). This has lead to makeovers for two more toons..which means I'm gonna have to go into Virtueverse and redo at least two bios, so far, and add a bio for the rerolled toon...
Then there is that SG that I am helping to start up -(I've not been able to really do anything with it before now because I was busy with the SG being reorganized...)
There are other factors, too, that I'd rather not go into, for they are too trivial and mundane. Just suffice to say that I am so stressed...that I really really need cheering up...
And that is why I want a Wassy.

The letter was indeed O and despite the missing period, Jophiel started each word of the sentence with the correct letter and it was English even if weird!
All in all, I'm thinking the Jophiel residence has been missing a lot of periods lately!!

4. Why I'd like a Wassy arts of one of my characters? Well, I'm generally impressed with the arts community over in this section of the boards, plus I want to get more of a collection started so I can get inspired to start drawing again.

#3 - I began with your story and added on
He was a little furry red bouncing bundle of weirdness with a tail, litle nubby horns and even budding wings. Of course his father freaker out and thought he was a mutant... Baby Caemgen was tested and nope... Not a mutant gene about him. Next Daddy dearest assumed that Mommy had congress with demons or somesuch... But no go, all mystical experts agree that there is no magical aura about the kid at all. Daddy still stormed off in a tizzy and was never seen again though.
As Caemgen grew he wondered why he looks so different from others, but it seemed no one could answer this for him. One day he came across this temple like structure within a vast forest. As he approached he noticed statuesque figures on balconies and ledges throughout the temple grounds. These figures seemed almost familuar to him somehow, then it hit him, these look just like him. As if on instinct he rushed for the gates. A simply dressed man met him at the gate, "Greetings Caemgen, we have expected your arrival for some time." the man said. Without another word the gates opened and the man began to walk to inside, uneasy Caemgen followed him, "What could he know of me?", Caemgen pondered.
The man stopped in what seemed to be a large banquet hall, "You must have many questions, let me assure you they will all be answered here." he said. As Caemgen began to study the walls he found paintings of other beast like creatures who seemed to resemble him in many features. Then he noticed a painting of his mother, she was elegant and demure, almost goddess like. "Ahh I see you found the painting of the one you call mother." the man said. "She is a powerful priestess among our kind, blessed with enchantment of mortal men, but curesed to bare children with a likeness of demons if she breeds with one of mortal blood. You are the last of such children. Your father was left without answers and in turn you were left without a father. You have many gifts from your mother, such as the control of fire from within your soul. You alone will decide your path in this world, but know this, should you decide to walk a path of righteousness you will be blessed by many Gods, should you choose a path of darkness you wil be cursed for all eternity." the man continued this story for many hours till dawn approached. Caemgen was given refuge to sleep, and a feast when he woke. The man he came to know as the temple High Priest, wise and powerful. The High Priest had offered to Caemgen living quarters within the temple but Caemgen refused them. With the answers he had been seeking, Caemgen said his farewell and decided it was time to set his path, whatever that may be.
#4 - I passed my CPR and First Aide Training courses yesterday, and this would make a great congrats typed "pat on the back" for doing this as I was so nervous I almost didn't even try. Some of you may already know I am a non-medical in home care giver so this was something I HAD TO HAVE in order to keep my job.

Good question! I started posting before I even decided!
Contest 1 - The Alphabet Challenge!
To enter, each contestant must post a sentence composed entirely of words all starting with the same letter. If the letter chosen is the letter I have prepicked then they will win a free Wassy Art!
Example: Zack zapped Zeke. (This would be a good entry.)
Bad Example: Zack zapped a zebra. ("a" doesn't start with "z" so disqualified!)
Rules:
1) Each person can only enter this contest once every 48 hours so that we can perhaps get every letter done by a different person.
2) Each word must be spelled correctly and names should be "real" names that are used more often than obscure mythology or SciFi, etc... Final judge on this will be me.
3) Sentence can be as long or short as you wish but must make sense and have some relationship to proper English. Again, I am the final judge on this.
4) Other rules may or may not be added, retroactively or not, as I see the need... Hopefully I won't have to but I'm doing this on the fly and *shrug* who knows what obvious gaps I'm missing?
Contest 2 - The Numerical Cliche!
Tried and true, but that's no reason not to use it! Pick a number contest... I'll prepick a number between 0 and 101 (so all number from 1 to 100 are eligible...) and the first to guess it wins Wassy Art! (hmm, that should be trademarked...)
Rules:
1) 1 guess per person every 12 hours. That means you cannot pick a number again until 12 hours after the last time you picked. If you do, you are DQ'd. (Not to be too anal, I'll allow an approximate 10-15 minute leeway window)
2) Other rules may or may not be added, retroactively or not, as I see the need... Hopefully I won't have to but I'm doing this on the fly and *shrug* who knows what obvious gaps I'm missing? But c'mon, this one is simple and anyone breaking the rules must be trying to
Contest 3 - Time to be Creative!
Caemgen has a back story but no explanation!
So... Why is Caemgen like he is? I've never quite tackled that question and was actually quite content not answering it. Still, I need a third contest so here we go:
Explain why Caemgen was born the way he was.
It doesn't need to be in story form. It doesn't need to be logical. It doesn't need to conform with any backstory I may or may not have in my head. It can be serious, comedic or philosophical... Basically anything you want.
Judging will be done solely by me... Probably. If I'm stuck on a couple maybe I'll put it up for vote to the public or grab a consultant or two who is no longer in the final running for this contest... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. But basically I'm just looking for something cool, or interesting, or amusing or whatever. *shrug* Chances are I won't actually adopt the winner to my story of Caemgen so everything is fair game! (though I do reserve the right to adopt it...)

1) This contest will run for as long as Conest 1 and 2 are still active. Once bith of those aew declared over, this one will be closed to new entries and I will start deciding... Which may take up to 24 hours.

Basically just somehow let me know you're interested in the free art and I'll somehow choose. Frankly I couldn't think of a fourth unique contest so I'm punting and seeing what ya'all come up with!
Rules: Same as Contest #3
2) One entry per person per 24 hours. (Once again, that's 24 hours since your last entry.)
