Heh, wow. Because Poe wrote on both.

Because there is a B in both and an N in neither.

Back in my day, there were portions of the game where you ran out of missions and had to grind outdoors.

Back in my day I'd have been asking "The Hollows? What's that?"

/em wave cane

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Seems none of the other ones can beat this one, and none shall...maybe though....

"Back in my day we got so much less than nothing, city of heroes was nothing more than a rumor..." Because really, superhero MMOs were, and still are rare. I wouldn't call CoX or CO "RPGs" tough...FFXI is a MMORPG, in fact I wonder how WoW fits in the RPG genera. Even Maple Story isn't an RPG but more like side-scrolling Zelda MMO (Zelda II, I AM ERROR!) /tangent /rant

Back in my day you couldn't attack a fleeing enemy; you had to run ahead and get in front of him.

God, I completely forgot about that. Wow.

Back in my day, people were crying "DOOOOOOOOM" because WoW was about to come out and steal everyone away from the game!

Positron: "There are no bugs [in City of Heroes], just varying degrees of features."

Back in my day that didn't matter that much because you had unsuppressed travel powers to get in front of them easily. Also, super speed could be toggled on when getting attacked and off when attacking in order to make the squishiest blaster invincible. And you had to ride trains from zone to zone in order to get to where you wanted to go. And the damage resistance cap was 100% for all ATs. And there were none of these newfangled inherent attributes based on archetype. And City of Villains was nothing more than an unconfirmed rumor.

I could keep going, but really, we should just drop this. Mine's bigger.

Back in my day we had to push a hoop with a stick down a dirt road.

I think it is also worth noting that the time an issue spends in open beta is not the length of time before it goes live. typically the issue stays on live till the next build/or issue is posted
