Yes. Indeed. It's "to" bad. Too bad that you can't understand that water = a smooth liquid and ice = big blocks of solid chunks and spikes all over your chest. If I were to make a water-themed character it would be more fitting to use Energy Aura than it would to use Ice because at least Energy Aura can kind of look like water.
And what "answers" have you given me? Besides pure "lol ur ideaz r dumb cuz they wud look stoopid" type of BS?

How does "dark" hurt people? It's not even a real thing, so nobody questions it. Honestly, who cares? You insist devs would give the same answers you are, that water can't hurt anyone, yet as you yourself even said, they originally intended Energy Blast to be Water Blast? I highly doubt any devs have called the destructive nature of water into question. More than likely, anything said on the subject was said due to technological or manpower restraints. Restraints which may no longer apply, or may be loosened in the future. |
Look, I know that making Water sets would take a lot of time and effort. That, in and of itself, is not a reason not to do something, however. Therefore, I will continue suggesting things I would like to see in the game, no matter how difficult or time-consuming it may be to add them to the game. Not because I don't believe the devs when they say it'd be very difficult to do it, but because I do believe them and would like to see them try regardless. If it's wrong to suggest things that aren't being done because they're difficult then sue me. This is called the Suggestions Forum. Not the "easy things to add" forum. Not the "Simple Suggestions" forum. Not the "things you want to see so long as everyone else thinks it's okay and it's not a big project" forum. I like to think BIG with some of my suggestions. I know Water powers or Elasticity powers will probably never happen, but that doesn't mean I can't keep wishing for them and suggesting them.
If the devs come in and tell me it's not worth the effort to make something, I'd completely understand. That doesn't mean I don't want to see it, however, and if other people feel the same way they should continue suggesting it with the hopes that the devs might change their minds. I simply disagree with anyone who feels all Suggestion threads should end with "so and so dev said it wasn't going to happen, ergo it won't happen /end". My thought: who cares? Give your own feedback on the idea. Don't let whether something may or may not happen influence your opinion on whether or not you'd enjoy having it in the game. Be optimistic, FFS. That's really all I'm trying to say. Sorry if that upsets some people.
A blaster waterset I can't see that happening. Maybe a controller one, but with the engine we are running on it wouldn't look that good. I've asked before. It's not gonna happen.

Maybe you don't recall, but for the longest time the devs also said that power customization wasn't a possibility. These suggestions are being made to show that there is interest. Coming in to say "THIS WON'T HAPPEN" is neither constructive nor helpful to the development process. Suggesting something isn't for my benefit or for yours; it's to let the devs know what players want to see. If enough people wanted to see water or elastic limbs or even Fish melee it might open up doors and suddenly become possible. |
