More Character info on log in screen

This doesnt affect actual game play, but i got this idea from my mt8 who plays wow.

Can we have it so on our character choosing screen we can see how much inf that specific toon has on them and how many merits they have?
i think im not the only one who when trying to sort a toon, decided to trade inf from one toon to another..but then forgets how much each toon has. so instead of spending a while logging in, looking logging out etc we can see how much we got right next to our character.

i was thinking of having the inf and merits next to the zone we are parked in that way it doesnt over lap our cossie and can be clearly seen.

if not, can we have it so theres a place..like the vault where we can go to, to see how much our'll offline character have.

i got this from wow as theres somerthing a player can click on to show what they have on their offline characters.
but tbh we only really need to know how much inf we have on our toons and merits, maybe any active recipes we have in our tray

what ya think?

Thats and addon for wow, not part of the game itself. Someone made it because the game didn't have it..

And a ton of addons for WoW make it into the game officially (see also: quest tracker update, etc., etc.).

Just cos it's an addon for WoW doesn't mean it wouldn't make a good addition to the base game of WoW, or to City.

i would support the idea of at least showing how much inf a toon has on them at login screen so you can easily tell which of your toons HAS money without logging in to find out that toon was broke then logging out and back in to another toon, which in IMO is a waste of time, when you have 30+ toons (and i know people who have 100s of toons), you cant keep track of how much inf you have per toon very easily unless you use CIT to track all of your toons or write it down or something, it would seem easy for them to at least put how much inf the toon has on the character selection screen to make it easier to keep track of

I'd like to be able to tell a few things from the log in screen:

1) Influence
2) XP to next level
3) Patrol XP gained
4) Day Job being worked on and progress towards it.
5) Items in Wentworths and whether they have been bought/sold
6) Option to switch the character's costume on the log in screen
7) Powerset Primary/Secondary
8) SG they are in.

I could probably think of more.

Those are all great ideas! And depending on font-size and UI design, the login screen could be formatted with three columns, one for character names, one for the character's appearance and the last for the character's information.

True. atm the moment the left side of the log in screen takes up thr whole name and orgin. they could make it smaller to fit in the extra information.

What's an mt8?

And I'd say this is partially alleviated with the 'not needing to log out to switch toons' option we'll soon be getting. So just
-log onto ToonA
-look for inf/merits
-not what you're looking for so log on ToonB
-found it, start e-mailing

Probably result in the same amount of time saved as the above, but we're already getting it.

mt8....really?? mt8 is text version of mate.
(i use txt format a lot, its quicker)

and not really. looking at the log in screen. notice Toon 7 has what u want...log in...email it. done...saves looking through all toons till you find the inf on toon 7.

Well, since '8' is usually substitute for 'ate', then wouldn't it be 'm8'?
(I can at least sound out that as I'm reading it were the other way I have to reread it like 'not mmtate or matate')

I say it'd 'probably' save you about the same time because, unless you could see 'everything' you can e-mail, it'd be no substitute for being able to see a character's full enhancement tray, salvage and recipe menu as well. You never know what stuff you might have stowed away on a character and might find 'more' than you need.

I would provide an image of me doing anything humanly possible without causing harm to myself that was requested to be able to see pri/sec on the select screen.

Yes, that's how I've seen it.

9) The number of badges the character has.
