Gender and Size changes at tailors via Super Science Booster

I've never used the Super Science booster ability to change character models (between male, female, and huge) and tried to do it today only to find that the options we not available at ICON.
I've got the science booster. Is there something else I need to do to unlock this ability, or is this ability no longer available for some reason?

For some reason, not all the Icon tailors do gender and size changes. You need to find one described as a Cosmetic Surgeon.

There is a specific guy you have to speak to at each tailor. It confused me too when I first went to see.

Thanks guys. I knew you'd come through.

Also, if you have the Good vs Evil version of the game, Trina in Pocket D does size changes too.

EDIT: You need GvE to get into the VIP room and talk to Trina, AND the Science booster to get her to offer body changes, just in case anyone reads that and thinks that GvE is all you need.

The tailor in RWZ is a cosmetic surgeon as well.

Another thing about Trina in Pocket-D, and this may be true for the tailor in RWZ too, but you can change your look at any level. I think P-D transporter unlocks at 3.

Um, tailors have never been level locked. Costume contacts, sure, but never the tailor npcs.

Postagulous is talking about the pocket D teleport power, not the tailor.

Read the sentence before the one about the Pocket D port.

And notice the part I didn't bold. Post is implying tailors are level locked.

Yeah, that's how I read it also. I'm not sure what that meant. You can visit any tailor at any level. Personally, I came up with a cool name and no idea for a costume once - I created the toon and parked him in the Steel Canyon Icon. He was there long enough to get the Day Job before I got around to making a costume - while he was still level 1.

Well, that makes you an exception. Most would die too much even at level 10 to successfully try for the tailor.

I thought we couldn't go to a tailor until 20. Eight months and I never tried.

While getting across SC at very low level is hard, getting across PI at a very low lev is not that hard, then get a raptor pack and getting across SC is easy.

Then it's probably fair to say that those who read and post here are probably not "most."
Of course it's not usually that difficult to get a teleport to the tailor, but i'm pretty confident i could do it even though i usually went through Kings Row and IP to use the tailor at level one before they opened the Vanguard base to all levels.

It never even occurred to me to go to another tailor. I just went to Steel Canyon without thinking, even though the guy was level 1. Didn't die at all on the way.

It's really not that hard to get to the SC Icon on a low level - IF you understand aggro ranges and keep your eyes open. The spawns are usually in the exact same places every time, so just avoid them.

Typically, I am running a lowbie across SC to get to the train to go see Annah and turn in salvage to get the extra costume. Then I run across the northern end of SC to get to Icon. If I'm feeling ambitious, I then run back to the AP entrance, but if I'm being lazy, I suicide and then only have to run from the hospital.

Of course, if I'm just looking to change a costume and not open another slot - I use the IP tailor cutting thru King's Row.

I keep forgetting about Trina in the D.

Yeah, but then you have to go to AP....

It's bad enough having to go there for the badge and plaque to get Atlas Medallion....

After they added Pocket D, I always went to Founder's Falls, that was easiest of all.
