Non-essential QoL issue

Dear Developers,

I know that sometimes when you think that you're alone in the office or you've got your earbuds from your iPod hanging in your ears, you're feet tend to grow a mind of their own. Sometimes, as you're along traipsing through the office just jamming along on one of your favorite songs, you catch someone laughing at you out of the corner of your eye.

From my Thriller imitation to the end zone dance, I'm always on my feet making a total fool of myself (Ellen has NOTHING on me). It's a fun part of life to dance...but I find that fun lacking when playing City of Heroes. Oh, of course, it has a few generic dances plus one really cool robot dance, but that's it.

Is there any chance of getting a few more dance moves added in over the next couple of issues? Here's just a suggestion list...

1. The Safety Dance (from the Safety Dance from Men in Work)
2. Egyptian (a'la Walk Like an Egyptian from the Bangles)
3. Awesome NFL end zone dances (to be used when taking down a tough AV)
4. Thriller from Micheal Jackson...don't think that they own the rights to a dance but you never know...
5. The Jitterbug
6. The chicken dance from all those mid-western wedding receptions.
7. Electric Slide
8. Running Man (you know...like when you watch someone DC'ing?)
9. Bankhead Bounce
10. The Twist

Just a non-important suggestion that would make the game a little more entertaining rather than living with those other dance moves.

Well, it's definitely non-essential.

The only thing I'd point out is that the devs that would do this work are the ones that would bring you things like:
-Power Customization
-Weapon Redraw Fixes

Those are two very important things I would love to see more focus on. I suspect I will anyway.

That's right Babs and team, get to work!
Oh, and thanks for all the nice stuff so far.

"The Safety Dance" is by Men Without Hats.

My fault...or the hydrocordone, I can't tell. Can't wait to get off of it and get back to work and a normal life.

I can agree to this. We need more dancy-type dances, instead of just bobbing back and forth dances. Though right now the devs are up to their necks in work getting ready for Going Rogue, so I doubt they have much free time.

After Going Rogue, Issue 18: Disco Fever! xD

Arc ID: 348998 - Becoming a villain
Arc ID: 373341 - To Save a Hero

Got Inf?

I'd like to add another dance:

Wuthering Heights

Complete with swishy/swirly arms and legs

And I'm prepared to wait for that. Issue 20?

Mmm, dancing

Actually I would like to see dances where 2 players are involved, instead of dancing individually with each other. basically, one player invates another player to dance, and they do ballroom, waltz, etc.

Stormy

Not likely to work well at all with different sized tunes...

I'd like to add that it is extremely important we get some sort of Irish jig, along the lines of Riverdance.

In a flagrant attempt at threadjacking, I'll mention having heard in the news that some archaeologists unearthed an ancient manuscript from an Irish peat bog. After some work, they were able to decipher the title:

Guide To The Dance, Volume 2: What To Do With Your Hands While Dancing

I just had the mental image of an 8 ft tall hairy ape monster waltzing with a 4 ft tall little girl, and knowing what I know about how the game engine works, let me tell you it'll look really really stupid.

Only if you get zombies to dance with you during an apocalypse when you do /e thrillerdance.
