OK, let me preface this by simply saying, it's your character so you should do whatever you are happy with. It's not my place to tell you how to put together your toon.

Now, having said that, let me address your point that I "ignored".

A: Somehow I don't see much, if anything, in this game lasting long enough to require any type of lengthy series of attacks when confronted by a team of rad corruptors pushing the damage cap with stacked AM & Assault.

B: I'm not sure there even is an attack chain that will burn the nearly 6 end/second recovery that you'd be getting from those stacked AM's in the first place. And that's assuming AM's that are completely unslotted for end recovery. Add a single end mod SO to it, and it's actually close to 8 end/sec recovery.

You have a point with the extra cost issue of a second build, but I guess I don't see spending a few million inf (if even that much) to slot up a second build with basic IO's or frankenslotted set IO's as a reason not to do it.

Adding more of my inf on the subject: Mondays are good for me, I am on the West Coast so anything before 5:30 PST is bad. Sunday afternoons are also good, Wednesdays and Saturdays are very bad for me.

For now our scheduled teaming time will be Sunday afternoon. We'll do our best to accomodate other play schedules as we get feedback. Hopefully others will pick up the torch and organize other teaming times to give the best coverage and everyone will be able to participate.

Everyone that has chimed in on the thread knows that I'm very easy going and I hope that will be an asset to this endeavor. The powers listed are just "recommendations". Accelerate Metabolism is mandatory; If you want to delay AM till level 6 that is fine. After that, other powers will synergize well, although having 8 people with Radiation Infection could be overkill. Hasten will make a significant difference in using AM, especially while super-teamed.

Stamina is completely optional. If you want to take it, take it.
I may not have been explicit, but I had hoped there would be room in the builds for some individuality. I haven't worked on a build yet so I'm not sure how much room there actually is for taking a pick or two from another power pool.

To make things easier I am going to provide a "scholarship fund" to everyone that reaches 22nd level. It will be more than adequate to pay for a 2nd build if anyone wants to go that route.

We are still looking for a team uniform. If the costume is open to variations, that would be great too. Since we are going to be in different supergroups an thematic costume would be nice.

As to the "midlevel crisis" recipe rolls, I tend to save merits until 30th-33rd level before I actually roll. That is just my preference. I'd like to hear from others on advice on rolling merits. It hasn't been discussed but we can also take some of the teaming into AE for ticket rolls there also.

I'll putter about in the costume creator later on and see if I can come up with some ideas for uniform ideas. Does color matter, or do we want to stick to a black/green based color scheme?

Bosses. EBs. AVs. Yes, they may get held. But they don't die immediately.

Again, there's no guarantee you'll always be playing under the 8x AM. If you want to crash and burn (pun intended) like a couple of groups on Infinity did, that's a "Be My Guest". Personally, dying because of a lull in group activity cramps my style.

Again, my gripe isn't just about a post-completion build. That's what you're not thinking about. Trying to play a post-completion respec build as the formula WHILE STILL LEVELING can be an exercise in extreme pain.

This is the team support build I think I'm going with, to be capped at 35. I've deferred a few attacks I would have taken sooner to the 20's. This will also be a test of how long I can put off taking a travel power.

As far as merit rolls, I've been going with every 5 levels starting at 20.

I'm not sure how many people will be taking Hasten, but with AM and Hasten slotted with 3 SOs of recharge, it will take approximately 3 other AMs to make both perma. That will be my minimal slotting in those 2 powers once SOs are available. I encourage others to take and slot Hasten similarly, but I'm not going to require it. I'm actually going to overslot AM and Hasten early and will look to respec the slots as SOs become available.

I haven't played a superteam up high enough to know, but I'd expect our bigger issue in prolonged fights with AVs will be status protection rather than recovery crashes. It will be fun to work our way through any challenges. A dose of Vengeance should get us through most situations to say nothing about a well managed inspiration tray.

**We each have our individual preferences for power choices and slotting and, much the way I recruit teams, I'm giving the maximum amount of freedom so that everyone can do as they want.**

My build plan is very vanilla DO/SO at this point. If we leverage AM well, it will cover many slotting limitations during the early levels.

Thank you IMP

Its wonderful to see this happening, and even better to see it happening on protector.

You can count me in and it looks like you will have enough for at least two teams.

A first major milestone to target would be to run the first Strike Force available (Virgil Tarikoss) when we've all achieved the min level of 15. (Maybe in a couple of weekends?) I suspect with any sort of prior teaming that level will be attained pretty quickly. Already ran my corr to 6 with a couple of other superrads and holding until things become more defined.

I'll offer up my 'planned build' soon for ridicule and entertainment when I get the chance but my goal will be to level to 50 with it. I don't have many villains and see this project as another reason to level a villain all the way but I will have a build in place for exemplaring down specifically to mid 30s.

I don't have a whole lot of resources redside unless I trouble friends to fully IO out 1 build much less an alternate one. But I can forsee IOing out my solo build and when teamed with other superrads, an all SO (or partly IOed) build should suffice until more resources can be accrued via drops/redside market. Afterall, part of the concept is to push more midlevel recipes/crafted IOs out onto the market.

As for an actual theme, Imp suggested using a costume slot toward that end once we're all agreed. This will get around 'not all being in the same vg' issue.

Redside, I don't have even a fraction of the inf I have available blueside, but I will also gladly help out anyone who needs some starting funds or wants to put together a second, non-team build.

With the massive status resistance from multiple Accelerate Metabolisms, I don't really see this being more than a minor speed bump that will simply require retoggling after the status effect wears off.

Okay, most of us who started last night are currently parked at L10.

A couple things we need to work on.

COORDINATING AM drops! This is the main reason we TPK'ed a couple times at the end last night.

When someone calls an AM check, do NOT drop AM.
Simply state if your AM is ready to be used or not ready.
Appoint one person the job of declaring AM drops and checks.
Do the "gather for AM" group hug and drop them all simultaneously.

We had some problems with this last night. Probably from people who aren't necessarily accustomed to playing rads in this manner. But give us a bit of time.

Just wanted to say thanks to Impyre for starting what was an incredibly fun event. I think we did 5 mayhem missions before everyone logged out and were pretty much steam rolling everything we were trying our hands at. I think at one point we were fielding three teams at once and had rolling teams through the afternoon and evening. I had tried this on a couple of other servers but, ours did just really well. Fun factor was just off the scale.

Couple of questions for those more knowledgeable than I.

1. We seemed to be getting blue numbers for damage around 169%. I thought the corrupter cap was at 400% global.

2. When is recharge calculated from ? Is it from when the power is cast or it is finished activating ? For the teamed builds this could give us some really interesting attack chains and builds.

Sorry I couldn't be there.. Damn work schedule.

The Combat Attribute monitor only shows bonus damage from buffs like AM, Build-Up, Fury, Inspirations, Assault, Defiance, etc. It does not include damage from enhancement slotting for example, although it will show damage from set bonuses. As far as I know the damage cap works like this:

Corruptor damage cap is 500%.

100% base attack damage + 100% damage from enhancements (more like 96%) + 160% from Accelerate Metabolism (8x20%) + 120% from Assault (8x15%) = ideal team max of roughly 480% damage. 20% short of the cap.

so, what level did you all stop at? I'm sure that I'll need to put in some work to catch up.

We stopped in the neighborhood of 13-15 (I started at L10 and was 15 when I logged last night).

Burned a bunch of AE tickets and finally slotted up. Died a lot more than I wanted to (partially because I was complete unslotted, partially because I was playing stupidly).

We're getting a bit better about coordinating AMs.

Our first outing went well. We had rotating teams as people logged on/alted an joined in. I heard from a couple people in the channel before we started but didn't see them once we began. If the schedule doesn't work for you, please chat with others and see if you/we can set up other times to team. If you're a late night person, Talbein has indicated that he'll be looking for late night superteaming opportunities.

Next Sunday we'll be running the Virgil Tarikoss Strike Force, level 15-20, 13 merits. I expect multiple teams/runs to give everyone a chance to participate. The plan going forward is to stagger the Strike Forces. When we are running Silver Mantis, 20-25, we will try to run a Tarikoss to give those that missed it a chance to run that also. We'll have to see how this idea works out in practice.
So far I've had nothing worth listing that i can recall. The dozen plus bronze rolls amounted to nothing useful.

Other notes:
still no costume suggestions so far, probably not important till we unlock 2nd costume slot at 20th
Thank you Rasta; your well wishes are appreciated.
Thanks to everyone that made it on Sunday; it made it a very fun day of teaming.
Invite others. It's still a great chance to get people to try redside. The more we have involved the more teaming opportunities everyone will have.

I think I stopped around level 10. The first team had all but left (and was a stopping point to get chores done), so I don't know if anything happened after that point. It didn't look like anything was still going on when I came back. I may or may not be high enough by Sunday for this.
