I really don't like price caps

All I know is that I mostly pvp. I only pve to make toons to pvp with. after hours upon hours of pvp since they came out I have only gotten 2 of them and none since they made them based on rep. me and 5 to 6 guys in my sg pvp almost nightly picking up loners occasionally to fill the team. in my group we have received a total of 4 pvp recipees since they nerfed the drops. The pvp recipees just seem to be really really hard to get and I feel as though it needs to be looked at.

Haha. Even the PvPers will admit that even after PvPing for weeks on end, they have may get a handful of drops. Nice try though.

On a more personal note, I used to be a fairly avid PvPer. I have stepped into post i12 PvP four times since the last batch of changes, grew disgusted and never went back. Many in the PvP community outright quit. And this isn't because I'm unable to adapt to the changes. I have the resources and know how to make a good PvP character based on the new rules; however, I (like many others) immensely dislike the new rules.

In short, removing this limitation would probably be a large, time-consuming, costly and potentially error-prone task.

Disagree. At certain prices, people may be motivated enough to respec out the IO and put them back on the market.

Might be more trouble than it's worth. I have a few influence capped characters so I'd have to arrange to influence transfer to one and then screen cap. I readily recognize that I'm not close to being among the wealthiest. I also spend like a debutante with her daddy's no limit credit card. Along with that 3% PvP IO, I also picked up a Panacea proc and a Panacea heal, which set me back another 2.5B. That's 4.5B influence gone.

Your build is extremely similar to mine, except that I have an Elec/Shield. I thought about putting the Panacea unique in my scrapper, but I didn't feel like spending that much for (what I thought was) a minor improvement to my end recovery. My end gets a little low if I'm fighting EBs or something, but that's why they have CaBs in the game.

If it turns out that after getting the accolades on it that the end recovery is a little less than where I want it, I may get it later on. For right now though, groups usually only last a few seconds, so it's alright.

That's only part of the problem.

A big part of why you don't see them listed is people know they can get more than 2 billion for them so they "/broadcast " forum post or channel auction the IO and sell it that way.

Which is precisely why sales capping won't work. All it will do is lead to manual auctions popping up in various channels. That's originally how trading used to be done back in the early days of EverQuest and other MMOs.
