No no no no no no. If you enjoy the idea so much. Delete all your 50s and roll a new toon every time you get there. I only have a few 50s and I play them all the time and not for the purpose of PLing. Yet another fun suggestion from the "people don't play the way I think they should" folks.

Merging the servers is a pretty terrible idea, but at least I can theoretically see how someone might think it's a good idea or necessary.
I can't at all see why you'd want to get rid of characters when they reach their peak. Especially considering all the post-50 content we have that we'd just be getting rid of. And even if you did think that 50 was a let-down, why would you want to destroy the characters rather than work on improving the post-50 content?

I dunno, to me this *also* reads "There's no lowbies to play with because everyone plays their 50s!" Also translated: I CANNOT FIND A TEAM.
As someone who has multiple 50s but has been playing one of her lowbies a lot lately (just hit 23 on the main one of this crop) PuGs about, trust me.
Leave my 50s alone, please. Thanks much!

I have an idea that might work for you.... why don't you retire YOUR 50's and then retire your forum account 
Even better, why don't you retire your toons before you make them (cut out the middle man so to speak)
A few questions come to mind...
If there was a forced retirement at 50 does this mean we would not have any mobs higher than 49? and all the 50+ mobs would be out of work?
What would be the cut off? Let's see 49 would be the new 50, then what retire at 49? Then 48 would become the new 49 which was the new 50... of course that is until you retire 48 which would then let 47 have a crack at being the new 48 which used to be the new 49 which took the place of 50 because of FORCED retirement...
(Forced Retirement) The main problem with this is the first word... since we have had our share of Forced stuff put on us with this game we sure do not need any more "Forced" anything
Worst idea ever? hmmm the server merge has this beat... but not by much
It's better to save the Mystery, than surrender to the secret...
