I had a market idea in the last year?

Harrassment? Inane replies?
A quick glance across the first page of this thread shows that you've been given logical and polite reasons why your reasons don't work.
Your original post was the most negative (statements towards others that might later disagree with you) on the whole page.
Edit to Add: Page two was nothing but fuzzy bunnies and warm hugs too, so you provided more hostility than everyone else combined up to the point of the post I quote right here. If there is anything even close to "Harassment" it would therefore be you. Feel free to report yourself.
When you get ingame Emails to the effect of "Stay out of Steel Canyon or I'm coming to ur house" or "Get off this server or I'll run you off the road on your way to work", that's Harassment. Been there, recieved those, got the chatlogs sent in to GMs.

Polite disagreement doesn't count as being mean to you and hurting your feelings isn't petitionable if you're so thin-skinned that merely pointing out errors gets you in such a tizzy.

Feel free to report every post I've made in this thread to the moderators if you feel that I've been inappropriate.
It's that (Triangle with a "I" in it) button at the bottom left.

No it doesn't really, i was just suggesting that this would be an alternative solution to what the opener suggested. Nowhere did i write that this should be done =)

As far as i'm concerned, the price of everything on the market is 100% chosen by players. if you see that a recipy your selling is going for 10mill you'll sell it for a little over that just to see if you can get that little bit more. if you want things to be cheeper, sell them cheeper, then people buying will bid lower prices which will make the price of that thing steadily drop.

I personally couldn't care less what drops i get, it's a nice little bonus when i get one thats useful, with all the rest i just sell them off for the highest price i can get, on or off market =)

Here's the thing. You have two things you can spend to get *any* drop in the game:

1. INF. If you have 2 billion to drop on an enhancement, and it's on the market, you're going to get it (barring multiple other 2 billion INF bids.)

2. Time. Don't have the time? Play the game. Want purples, play your 47-50. Want PVP IOs, PVP (or farm alts. *shrug*) Eventually they *will* drop.

And, while you're doing #2, you'll be building toward #1.

Though...I have to say, I did see a bunch of one purple recipe on sale in the WW the other day, with bidders, but none where buying...so it might be time for some of those purple recipes to drop in price. :P

How to make one million influence/infamy at level one

1. Go to Mission Architect.
2. Play a 3-5 mission story arc all the way through. (No ghosting missions)
3. Use the tickets to buy rare arcane invention salvage. (Pangean Soil seems valuable now)
4. Sell salvage on the Consignment House/Black Market.
5. Profit.

Of course, you'll probably need to turn off XP to prevent leveling during the AE arc, but you get the point.

Arc ID: 348998 - Becoming a villain
Arc ID: 373341 - To Save a Hero

Got Inf?

See that's a self correcting problem. If Billy-Joe Ray-Bob got greedy and set his asking price too high, his recipe is going to sit there forever. Meanwhile he's going to be watching everyone elses stuff sell. Then he's going to have to man up and take the penalty for charging too much and resell his recipe at a more reasonable price.

And that's why the market isn't broken.

Honestly, a lot of it is people putting in lowball bids in hope of a deal (either due to someone wanting to sell in a hurry or a pricing error). Chances are the single recipes are at or just above the going rate but the bids are to low. Many bids and one for sale means demand is greater than supply so the price is probably not to high.

I respectfully disagree. While that does happen a lot I think we see a mixture of both our examples more often than not.
