Was Taunt changed?

Is this on a male, female, or huge toon? I believe each one has different sound effects.
Personally, I haven't noticed anything strange on my Female Invul, or my Huge Stone, but i'd have to double check.
Also, try the taunt emotes and see if any of them do the same thing for you:

On a side note, when I looked up the emotes listed on the main site, I couldn't help but notice that Tarzan is the one listed directly before Taunt. I suppose if the emotes are listed internally as numbers, something might have bumped the list.
I noticed this on my tanker the other day, with his normal costume he does the normal tuant emote sound, but when I switch to the female costume the emote is the female tarzan. When I switch back it switches back, my wife tanker also does the same tarzan, but she doesnt do sex changes like my tank does. I hope this is a bug im not to fond of the tarzan scream...

Sounds like a bug to me, my male tankers and brute all use the correct Taunt emote and sound... I haven't played my female stone/EM tanker in over a year and I don't have any huge tanks.

I wondered why it sounded wierd when teaming with a friend who, yup, had a shield Brute. She was using some sound clip I had never heard before, so I guess something got gyped up somewhere/

The Taunt sound effect seems particularly prone to problems. For a while my dark melee tank made no sound at all when taunting. The animation played, but no sound at all. That got fixed a couple months ago.

I tried my other female tanks and didn't have this issue. It seems to be just the Shields tank.
I /bugged it in game. I hope it is changed back soon.

I have a new female shield tank I played quite a bit on Saturday. I was mostly solo so I used taunt very rarely and can't comment on the OP.
Hmmm, I didn't think anything could be worse than my Brute's current taunt sound, but a Tarzan yell would definitely top it. Thankfully he doesn't have this bug. I didn't think of changing it though. Time to ponder a good replacement!
Playing my SD/SS tank and noticed that the taunt sound is playing the Tarzan scream instead of the normal Taunt one. Is this a bug or was this an intentional change?
