seems a bit over complex Techy , its not the CIA we are forming ....do we need such a structure , the idea of ranks linked to Pres earne dis ok, but saying who is SWAT and who is not ..seem a bit too far .. IMHO ..

Well, ranks have got to mean something. That was just an example, and some reasoning behind the rank names. SWAT was the only equivelant I could think of. e.g the most experienced members, etc will, by default of being around the longest and earning the most prestige, will have been fighting for the longest...ergo.

And this is very baseline for me, Pious. If you want deep, I can do better

I agree with Alpha. For roleplay purposes beyond prestige ranks, the titles need reason and his examples are spot on with the theme.

• Associates are the newest members or those who only sometimes hunt with us.
  
• Trackers hunt common threats in places not too dangerous, usually as told to by more experienced Nighthunters.
  
• Seekers are elite trackers, hunting the supernatural in dangerous places, mostly under their own volition.

Night Hunters good to go for the group name? Thats the one thing we need to get right first go, since that's the only thing we can't edit at all.
Afterall, demons/ghosts and supernaturals are all usually associated with the Night...so what they literally hunt IS the Night? =P

i am happy with Nighthunters as the SG name ..

as am aside ..rank names do not have to be used , we could choose to ignore ranks , after all they are just a method of assigning SG and Base rights ..we could all , bar the needed SG leader , have the rank of Member , all with the same level of rights , and ignore the other ranks ..

hellskeeper has a cossie that goes with her fire armor ..and no trenchcoat is included ..so her look is fixed ... so only a non combat cossie would work for her ...mind you she is always happy to go clothes shopping if some one else is offering to pay ....

I think we would stand out well in black trenchcoats and cloaks with maybe a touch of red. Should we use the crescent moon SG symbol?

• Clues: A good look towards the edge of the forest reveals a wall of Unseelie guarding an entrance.
