Just so you know, I turned the Targets list on the wiki page into a table because it was just far too difficult to read. Nothing special and could use some tweakage, but at least now it can be read without one's eyes going funky.

By the way, if we are having a ghost who resides in The Worn Cover, it'd be easier to create him if we had a theme for him (or her), right?

I'm not too fussed about the ghost at this point. I actually thing it's somethign we should look at at a much later time, after we've settled in.

Suraya and crew are busy to get the shop ready for an official opening. We could have that next SG meeting. And invite several rp-ers over to buy some books

A ghost is nice... but were not in a hurry. I guess the person would be from around 1850-1950. And has ghost like powers only. As of origin it was a book store keeper. Maybe a murdered one. I think a ghost here should be a victum.

If I would make it I would prob go for Dark/Dark def, scrapp or tank with hover, early stealth (for the effect), phase or buy an stealth IO and the temp phaseshift.

You could even say the Worn Cover bookshop was once set on fire by Hellion arsons (its in Steel Canyon, near Pandora's Box) and the previous owner of the shop was burnt to toast in that fire and died, yet his soul lives on in one of the books, within the pages of his favourite supernatural tales. Maybe he haunts the place to protect it, to keep it from being defiled by new owners... like us. But eventually, thanks to Suraya's pretty face and Ava's charming personality, we win the ghost over to fight by our sides and protect the shop, and the city around it, together!

i agree , let the ghost evole around us , may be its more poltergiest like at first ..and over time it becomes a "person" ...

thinks ... is our shop a simple book store , or does it have a coffee bar and reading area ?

is it a trendy hang out or a stuffy book lovers nook

does it do writers signing their latest books

does it have a "other" languages section

does it open at odd hours ..and is closed all day teusday for no expalined reason

does it make a profit ..or does it need funding to keep is going

does it employ our Alts as staff , ie beyond our NH toons

Basically, we're talking about a magic store like Pandora's Box in-game. Private, quiet and almost sacred. The books and artefacts sold are secret, powerful, undefiled knowledge. The Worn Cover is an old building selling old books, with worn out covers sitting on worn out shelving. Hardly the ideal place for a coffee bar, certainly not 'trendy' and I doubt any new writers would be coming in to do book signing, for fear of the crooked once-burnt building collapsing on their heads. Have a look at the wiki entry, as I've now fleshed out most of the history. Except for the ghost.

I'm going to be away for Christmas so I won't be around much until January.

Questions for now, if we're handling Gabrielle's exorcism on Wednesday 6th and the Ghost Ship expedition on the 7th, should we set the Nighthunter's bookstore Grande Reopening and heroing community party for the second weekend in January? 9th/10th ish?

if possible can we keep to weds and thursdays ..i can fit them in by shuffling stuff..but it then means other days are not free ..otherwise i wont be able to say ya or na until the days before ...

if we are going to have , even just as background , a "dread foe" group for the Nighthunters i have a suitable char .. do we want to have a RPed villain faction working the other side ? maybe give some shape and reason for the NH missions and hunts ?

The court is ofcourse a- an sg with demons, vampires, ghosts, zombies, werewolves and the likes... and b- most of our alts are in it so we rp against ourselves. That way the info learned stays in control.

The persons on that post (which was done ingame) are Dark Order Priestess, Desert Princess and Blade Racer.

Also.. sure.. real ic enemies makes it more alive.

I would say... hook up with Elizabeth or later Alicia Barzini to compaire notes.

More like geurilla warfare. We could do instanced arena matches at one confrontation and at another time, clash at a PvP zone (don't fear the tools, they're just PvP'ers) or another time, we could each write up MA mission arcs starring members of the other. I would happily write a mission full of Court members and enjoy kicking their vampire tush about. As I'm sure they would back at us.

there are three ma arcs you can already use that has you fighting the court and liz. And i may set one of the courts meetings in warburg

We could even create certain NPC's in each group for the main purpose of being the ones to die in each fight, depending on who looses. Just to take the realism to that extra level and add some melodrama.

Sounds good! I would offer to write one up, but I'm currently writing the last arc for my "Rapture Series". And I wouldn't have the slots to publish it.
