I have too many alts (even at the time I first found the forums) to use a character name, so my sister & I decided to try to find Latin phrases - IDK why we chose Latin TBH.
Ad Astra sounded like a cool superheroey motto, so here I am.
Kind of in reverse, I now am in the process of trying to get the name on my main servers and have started some characters to go with the theme.

Nova Factor is my Broadsword toon in Liberty currently sitting a lvl 41 . He has an evil twin brother named Se'thur a lvl 26 Brute/ Claw also on Liberty server .
I made mine up when playing one of the Heroes of Might and Magic games (I think that's what it was, anyways), over 10 years ago.
Though the adding of "Ex Machina" is fairly recent. "Morac" being a 5 letter word, eventually some other people started using it. Be warned: there is a Morac on twitter and another (or maybe the same one) on DeviantArt, and they are not me (and they never use their accounts, which is what really pisses me off).

My highest level character when I signed up for the forum. As for how I came up with it originally, I was inspired by Green Lantern. I liked how he was known on Earth as "Green Lantern" even though he was technically one of many Green Lanterns. I wanted to come up with a name that also suggested a larger, space-based, heroic organization. He has since evolved away from my original concept, but I still like the name.
