Please help me decide on a Farmin' Scrap!
Spine/Regen, Spine/Elec and Spine/WP are what I use...I also have a Spine/Dark but its on a deac acct. I mean, ill be honest, I have up and back raced other people in the Jamison office park (Demon Farm) on both sides and won't lose. My Aoe's are just done status...BU>SB>TS>SB +1's are dead. +2's 80% you get the idea...I breeze through the most with my Regen though especially if no bosses, taking the Alpha is cake status and Mog is up like every other group if I feel like bosses, in that case Ill do all the same but add ripper targeting him...also he has sets, the other 3 are just IOed
Just an opinion...

I use an ElM/Shield. I spent quiet a bit and he is softcapped with 72% global recharge. Farming for drops I can clear the "Close the dimensional ruptures" map in about 10 mins; +0's by the way. If I am pling someone running at +3/8, no bosses, about 16 minutes.
I would say go fire/Shield simply because you won't need as much recharge to get fire sword circle back up. For sure you won't go wrong with fire/shield or ElM/Shield.
Here is my build sans the set of Hecatombs.

Will you be mostly soloing it, or do you plan on having help?
My SG mate has a Spines/WP that just wont quit....does stupid constant AoE and since the WP set is mostly passive, it's a breeze for him. If it ever gets overwhelming, he just tosses out Energy Torrent (all knock down, no knock back) and lets RTTC do it's thing. Spines/WP gets my vote for Solo...that could just be because there are 3,840,028 Elec/SD scrappers out there now too. XD
My 2nd vote would be for Fire/SD....more burst damage thanks to AAO+SC -> FSC, and pretty easy to softcap on a farming only build. Incinerate+GFS is usually all that's needed to finish off a Boss after that. The going gets a little slow when SC is down though, so I would build for +rech to keep that up as often as possible.
No love for Spines/Dark (once IOed a bit for endurance)?
/Dark adds a second constant damage aura and a heal that is vastly superior to /Fiery Aura's. As long as you can time the heal decently you're all-but-unkillable.
And Oppressive Gloom should neutralize all minions, very handy for farming.

My favourite scrapper for farming is my Spine/Inv, though my Fire/Shield was nice too (doesn't currently have any enhancements on it am doing a refit, should be nice again).
I quite like the feel of Fire/Fire too but mine's not as tough as the two above I have so it doesn't get to play very often

Dark/Shield Build Thread
Elec/Shield is currently the *Premier* Farming Scrap combo. But its stupidly expensive to build.
Elec/Fire does almost as well as Elec/Sheild, but doesn't cost a fortune.
Same with Spines/Fire.

I was thinking of farming the Council mish Unai gives.
My current and by far favorite scrapper is Fire/Shield/Blaze. I'd put it up against any scrapper for farming speed. I also think Elec/Shield would be comparable for pure no boss farming, but lacks the single target damage to finish off bosses as fast as Fire.
Aside from farming, a F/S/B scrapper is a top notch all around scrapper. The single target damage make it a superior candidate for AV and GM killing (on teams). With Aid Self, you would also be a pretty solid AV soloer, though I personally did not go this route.
All that said, its going to be expensive to get to that point. But hey, what good is farming if you have nothing to spend it on, right?
How much cash are you willing to spend on it?

Alright I think I'm gonna go Elec or Fire/Shield/Blaze. I wish Thunder Strike had a larger radius and Chain Induction would still chain off a target it kills, though. Fire only really has FSC for AoE, but it's great damage and recharges fast. Not to mention, it also has an effective ST attack chain for bosses. Soooo Fire/SD/Blaze it is! I'll post up a build in a little bit and see what y'all think.
If you choose Elec/ don't forget the FF +rech proc in Thunderstrike. This little thing has a chance to proc for every critter hit, and therefore procs alot while farming.
It really makes a difference on the recharge side, and your Shield Charge comes back faster
The problem with the FFB in Thunderstrike is that unlike Footstomp, the radius on TS is teeny. As for in Shield Charge, it does work but because of how SC works you don't get the buff.
The damage and KD in SC is caused by a pet (Scrapper Shield Charge) so the summon gets the buff, not you.

Still working on my Mids build. It's a little tough to soft cap when taking Fire Ball. Also, Cremate or Incinerate? I'm leaning towards Incinerate. Could also get both and skip GFS. I've heard the 'FS-Cremate-Incin-FS' chain is pretty effective. Might have their order mixed up?
Okay, here's what I've come with. Soft capped to Melee and Ranged. 44.43% to AoE. I could soft cap AoE, but I'd have to use 5 slots of Miracle on True Grit. I'd lose 35hp and that's more important to me than 1.88% AoE. Let me know what you guys think. I'm sure I missed something on it, lol.

Ranged is showing as 41% when I put it into mids, sky.
I'm trying to decide on a farmer. Something other than Fire/Kin. What kind of Scrapper do you use to farm with? There are just so many options that I can't decide.
Here's my list so far:
Fire/Fire
Fire/SD
Fire/Elec
Elec/Fire
Elec/SD
Elec/Elec
Spines/Fire
Spines/Elec
I'm leaning on Elec/SD or Fire/SD mainly for a quick 1+2 punch that will give them no time to run. But a damage aura might be more useful... So please, let me know your favorite Scrapper to farm with and maybe I can narrow it down to one.
