Costume Challenge: Angler Fish

So I have an idea for a custom MA villaingroup revolving around deep sea life. Now, I'm not looking for sharks, as I already know how to do that


What I want is something that looks like this:



What do you guys think. Is it doable?

Do you have "death goggles" at the ready? Those might really help with the eyes... and maybe the "grinning full mask" for the mouth? Not sure where that leaves you as far as the angler bit off the top of the head though. Just coming at you from the top of my head, no angler there sadly.

Interestingly, Champions Online has this very costume option, even with multiple dangling thingies.

Never figured out why anyone would want to look like that though.

One of my characters has costumes based on various sea creatures. I've tried an angler fish, too, and I haven't gotten it to work yet. That said, I was able to create a pretty good-looking sea slug using purple skin, the short antennae you can pick as a mask detail (not the long ones that you can pair with insect eyes), and the "plant" shoulders as gill filaments. You might be able to do something similar with the leafier plant accents on an angler fish. Also, consider using the "gills" mask pattern with a vivid color over white or the "grin" face (with some eye detail to cover the skull-like eyes) to replicate the teeth.

On a more general point, the third type of Samurai details has a good, wave-like pattern I've been able to use on a number of aquatic costumes.

I was going to post some suggestions for what you could possibly do but - OH DEAR GAWD, that.... giant travesty, piece of **** thing masquerading as the anthromorpification of ugly in all its resplendent terror, has convinced me that I don't want to think about it. Ever.

By far the best anglerfish I have EVER seen in game. I've seen a few attempts. They pale in comparison.

Fish have feet?! Just joking. I wish they would allow use to use the same bottoms as the Serpent group. I know it would be a nightmare for the powers and animation team, but it's just wishful thinking.
