Task Force Stats & Info:
  • We will be running one all night team (Monday night at 10pm Eastern) (led by MB) and two 2-night teams (Monday and Tuesday night at 10pm Eastern) (led by Luna and Joe). Please let me know which you would prefer.
  • This task force requires 8 to start. We will be running 3 teams (ONLY!) that night. If we are short people, we will use people from other teams to start and then have them drop the team.
  • We will wait to form teams until close to 10pm Eastern. This will allow us to get a better idea of what builds we have present. Anyone not at the contact, or that has not sent me a tell letting me know they are on their way will not be included.
  • We have use of the chat channel Freedom TF Chat for these TF's.
  • Sidekicks and Exemplars are welcome!
  • 24 mind numbing Missions total: 6 Defeat Alls, 5 Hunts
  • Badge: Portal Smasher
  • Merit Reward: 122

Even though the Shadow Shard TFs are notoriously difficult to stealth, I am thinking that I should be ok, since I have PFF for protection for when I am seen (at least it should protect me long enough to get out of harms way).

Yeah I'm not sure if I ever brought Midnight Gale on a SS TF or not. Illusion does have the added bonus of 200ft stealth, so you'll stand a better chance than any of the rest of us! And like you said, if they see you, pop your bubble!

So what do you think E, should we have me lead the team (it'll be set to level 40ish) or one of the 50's? I'm thinking it *should* scale down to my level, but I could be wrong. This whole SSK thing just has me doubting everything!

I'm not quite sure at this point. These TFs have always spawned based on the highest team member. I am just not sure if the SSK is being taken into consideration based on our past issues...

Alittle added protection pick up the temp phase from warburg, and I cannot make these as I am going out of town have fun all

I would like to do this with my plant/kin controller, Plantman Mega. I would prefer to do a 1 night team but I can do a 2 night team if I have to.

Hey everyone sorry for the late notice but i found out a few hours ago i have a job interview in the morning so i need to sleep and make sure im fresh. Once again sorry for the late notice.

It was a fun run, I originally wanted to shoot for a little over 3 hours, but the first hunt dragged on forever with all 3 teams in the same area at the same time doing it. Also, as it turned out, "Ginko" didn't bring Gintoki as planned (his tank), so I expected it to take a little bit longer as well. That psi damage was really eating up our Ice tank. I felt like my phantom army was keeping us alive most of the time. lol

I guessed we'd hit about 4:20. We were rolling right along and things went well until the last mission. My cable modem reset on me twice. Apparently when it happened the second time, 4(?) other team members came with me. We were on the last room of the last mission when this happened! Thankfully, the members who did not mapserve waited a few minutes for everybody to get back, and all 8 of us were able to claim our 122 merits for this run.

Great job everybody!
