Block of ice now a stun and not a hold??

I've searched so forgive me if this has already been mentioned but I played my ice controller for the first time in a couple of weeks tonight. And I noticed that my block of ice was now stunning the people it hits rather than freezing them in place. Or at least that is the animation it is running.

All the holds are playing the stun animation... it's kind of annoying.

A lot of mez effects are doing that. It is annoying.

Actually I find the squirming within the ice block an interesting change. They still aren't moving and they still aren't attacking so no real impact on play.

I would like to mention that the Gravity Control hold is also stunning, or at least playing the stun animation.

Just incase this isn't known - the effect also is happening on Frozen Aura on ice tanks - "sleeping" foes display stun animations until they wake up instead of sleep/held in ice.


I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.

This is happening on most holds from what I've seen, interesting to hear that it's happening on grav as well though as the hold proc from gravitational anchor (purp immob set) is playing the grav hold animation properly, so I had assumed the grav holds would be working alright and hadn't got my old grav troller out to check them out...

The "tesla cage" type hold effect seems to be working properly. At least with procs and VEAT spider minions.

I've noticed that with Char on my new fire/earth (ZOMG! I <3 EARTH ASSAULT!!!1!!) dom it often does not show any visible effect for my holds, or does the stun animation. The mobs just stand there.
