SO how did DXP go for you? what option did you choose?
Okay, levels are more or less approximate. Pretty sure, but I might be under by one level or so.
I have two level pacts, one on Freedom, one on Virtue.
Freedom:
- Fire/Stone Brute, 21-28
- Ill/Ice Troller, 15-28
- MA/WP Scrapper: 31-38
- PB: 35-37
- Ice/Ice Tank: Brand New to 25
- Sonic/Traps Corruptor: Brand New to 6 (All in the last hour of DXP)
On the marketeering front:
Made a killing off an an small 7-digit investment in common IOs and my Field Crafter toon.
If you spent 500, 800, or 1 million on an L30 Defense Buff Hero Side (with crafting and salvage costs, that's over 900, 1500, and 1900% profit margin respectively) , chances are you paid out the money to me. Made over 83 million just from Defense Buffs. Made approximately 171 million total for the weekend.
On the badge front:
- Got six alts I was using to sell my IOs their Enhancer badge and at least one quantity-based marketing badge each (a couple got two).
- Picked up Fabricator on my Field Crafter toon.
- My Scrapper picked up the Manticore TF (and got to see the L40 PP bug first hand..ow) and the Tank Smasher badges as well as the Midnighter badges.
- My Ill/Ice Troller picked up Shrouded, Sensation, and the one for fighting Psychic Babbage (plus a few I may misremember)
- My Ice/Ice Tank picked up the Midnighter badges and the one for fighting the Kraken.
- My PB got Centurion during a failed ITF (one of our main damage dealers fell off in the first mission and never came back). We just steamrolled everything up until we got thumped HARD at the console (whittled it down by nanometers). And were on our way to thumping Romulus, but couldn't handle fighting him AND the ambushes AND the ridiculous Nictus spawns.
Had something similar happen with my scrapper when I picked up a L50 team for the "Save the World" mission (Hro'Dtoz and Nemesis). We whupped up on the Rikti, but the ambushes murdalized us for Nemesis.
We'd get him chopped down to 25%, an ambush would come in, and we'd wipe. Mainly we'd lost three of our team (including our debuffer) and since it was 4 AM, getting more people to come help was tough.
- Plus the assorted damage badges, wealth badges, exploration badges, etc.
On the teaming front:
My Ice/Ice spent most of his time solo. I was playing him while at work and had to stop periodically. To make up for this I had him running +0x4, and was making 3 levels every 2 missions in the upper levels.
Just about everything else was teamed.
On the fun front:
Save for failing the aforementioned failed missions/TFs, and one instance where an L50 with a bunch of lowbies kept taking Malta missions (then took a Malta+Carnies mission), I had a friggin blast! I was absolutely inundated with team invites all weekend. Didn't have to go looking even once.
All I can say is that I'm glad it isn't like this all the time. If it were, I'd lose my job due to getting addicted to the game!
Got my Warshade to 50, ended a level and a half shy of 50 on my Peacebringer. Inching ever closer to having a 50 of every AT. >.>
Realized over the weekend that Warshades are much more fun to play than Peacebringers.
Now all I need for my goal is a tank, brute, widow and spider.

I attended the Hami raids, played for a couple of hours with some VG members who just returned to the game, and watched season 2 of Big Bang Theory.

My goal was to get three characters (well, one character - just three versions of him) each to 25, for access to an extra costume slot, capes, and Ouroboros. Got my Rad/Energy Blaster and Willpower/Energy Tankers to their goal, while the Rad/Rad Defender only got to 20. However, considering I wasn't going full-tilt all weekend like I'd planned on doing, and spent a good chunk of time working on a currently-personal SG base, and did a lot of cooking and cleaning around the house, I can't say I'm too saddened about those last five levels not being obtained.
Since I honestly don't know who I ran with over the course of the weekend, if you happened to encounter Particle Driver, Particle Impact, or Chaos Particle, thanks for helping me reach my goals! I had a blast!
Moved my closest to 50 villain from alevel 37 mastermind up to 39.
Rolled a new mastermind magic based robotics/storm. Made a vow to use only influence she earned in decking her out then Won a million infamy at level 20 in costume contest, making SOs a possibility. Spent at least 2 hours on her costumes and respecs Realized being a 63 month veteran makes level 1 a lot easier (attack power, Blackwand, Nemesis Staff, Sands of MU) is an very nice attack chain Got 23 levels in 6 hours on the new Master Mind and I like the concept a lot. |

as Ood Sigma said....We will sing to you, Doctor. The universe will sing you to your sleep. This song is ending. But the story never ends.
I met my big goal, namely leveling my SS/WP brute from 41 to 50. Picked up a few levels in the teens to reach 20 on a couple other toons, but the 50 ding was the long and short of it.
got my super-awesome longbow defect, Wrong-Bow, up to 50 finally
started a new SM/ELec Brute and got him up to 30, running aura mish tonight
then helped the boys from work get some accolades, badges, etc.
I watched my weekly downloaded TV shows, a movie, played some Aion, had pizza & wings for Thanksgiving and levelled my 37 MM to 42, my 39 Controller to 41 and a new brute to 13.

KGB Special Section 8
Double XP worked out well for me and for more than a few of my SG mates.
Ran my Elec/Elec scrapper DH from 36 to 50, almost all by running solo in six person spawns of Rikti. Lightning Rod obscured the "ding" visual effects almost every time for him. Was highly profitable as well with several purple drops. That's 5 level 50s of DH now for me, and it funded an expansion of the personal RP/Storage base I have for three of those as his home.
Saturday night my SG ran through three TFs in about 4 hours: Moonfire, Hess, and Synapse. I think I might have used my Inv/DM tanker for the Moonfire and Hess, but I can't remember to be honest. Maybe that was Citadel the day before. *shrugs* We run a lot of TFs so they tend to run together in my head after a while.
Took my FF/Psy defender from 40-43 in a team I led mostly for SG mates in RWZ mishes on Monday. Her bubbles made the team pretty close to immortal and care-free.
Took my SS/Shield brute from 38-40 in two short sessions. My Shield/EM tanker went from 42-44. Poundy Man (Inv/EM tanker) got a couple more levels to 13 just while goofing around, again teamed with one of my SGmates.
And then Monday night I made an elec/ninjutsu stalker DH and got to 17 rather quickly while teamed with an SGmate's new Corr on a PUG.
And throughout all of this, I managed to squeeze in a little RP time.
Daemonchilde: ((fluffy thinks he's a tank)) Demon . Hunter: (( I think mine is >.> Daemonchilde: ((Yours is no longer fluffy, it is Obliteron, destroyer of worlds)) |
The only goals I had were to get my controller and tanker (both were level 41 or 42) to 44, so they each got a new power. I got them there, but I don't know what to give them, especially since I lost all my builds when my desktop died a few months ago.

Sadly my Least productive 2xp weekend ever..Few levels here and there but teamins was very scarce...my sg has less than a handful of active players left and all but 2, including myself, were away for the weekend.
Then I just felt drained from the week leading into it- my 91 yr old uncle passed away. My grandfather went on home hospice care Wednesday, the day before 2xp (and due to a scare we all had he is now off it), and my grandmother was in the hospital all weekend (turns out it was angina a nd fatigue from stress from the aforementioned events)...
BUT, I will make up for it next time, I hope. I did start a few new toons and managed to get a scrapper from 38 to 46 and a redsider from 25 to 35.
-Pogoman, Master of Kick-Fu
-Co-Leader and recruiting officer of the Virtue Honor Guard
- lvl 50 ma/sr scrapper
-Ace O' Diamonds lvl 50 fire/rad controller
and waaaay to many other alts to mention right now
Started a new Scrapper to be my main after not playing for about a year, managed to casually get him up to 24 before the double xp ended.
Considering that even though I logged in at about 10:45PM on Thursday, and I didn't realize that DXP started Thursday at 8AM until Friday at 12:20AM, I'm satisfied.
Closed the gap to my main throwing psionically manifested sharks, which he can now do. Huzzah!
Got Big Poppa Pew-Pew for my Bots/FF.
Got my Ninja MM from 8 to 17.
Got a few levels on a bunch of lowbies, and got a level or 2 on several other miscellaneous characters.
Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.
good luck D.B.B.
