Fast Track To Infamy Badges?

With issue 16 I'm very excited that most of my epic badge trackers have come to fruition and I now have almost all of them. All of them... except the last two infamy badges. Stupid me ran for 2 years in SG mode to earn prestige for my villain group, so now I'm stuck at 174 million out of 250 million needed for the second to last badge.

Just floating this out there to brainstorm some ideas: what would be the easiest way to earn infamy for these badges on a level 50 corruptor? Ideally I would want to do most of it solo, but I'm definitely up for SFs.

Which SF would generate more cashflow: the ITF, the Recluse Strike Force, Lady Grey, Barracuda, or any of the main villainside SF?

What would be some good flashback story arcs without EBs or AVs in them a solo corruptor can run?

With issue 16's changes, is AE even a viable place to earn some pocket change?

Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Run big teams, if you can. Xp and Inf both benefit from the teaming bonus, to be honest.

Also, what kind of corruptor are you?

Most Corruptors are LOVED on teams (especially Strike Forces). If you have one of the super popular powersets (Thermal, PD, Rad, etc) and put it in your search comment, you'll probably have a hard time fighting off the invites! You'll get there simply by playing

(being part of an active SG and global channels will make it even easier to get on teams)

I'm rad blast/thermal, so I definitely am one of the more sought after for RSFs.

I think I'm just going to log in and take any and all invites for any SF that comes and just play until I get blisters on me fingers.

That will work.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

I'd hazard a guess at the ITF would be good for money if the difficulty is just right and you can find a team willing to kill 90% or more of the enemies.

Especially if you get a crew willing to farm Lag Hill. Enough AoE damage and you can make them melt in no time and the money just flows in. Burn them all down until you're happy with how much you've earned.

The RTF would also be a good one if you can get a team to clear the Boomtown map, but that one won't be quite as profitable as ITF's Lag Hill.

If you were hero side I would offer to help you :P
I need to get the last badge on my Fire/Kin and I'll be dual boxing and hitting the demon farms hard this month.

I heard there was a way for villains to farm a mission given to them by a television screen? If it's true then that could be a suggestion. You can Exemplar down and do banks with people over and over because you earn infamy as though you fighting Lv.50 enemies of whatever is in the bank even though they're low levels.

Either way, good luck on your badge Tassies! <3

I think the ITF would be good, first because it has some big maps, and second, because it's co-op, so it should be easier to make a team who all want the Inf badges, and will stick around to clear every map.RV turrets were quite good pre-I16 - and they were pretty generous with their purple gifts too

Thanks, DS! Are you on Pinnacle? If you are, I'd gladly run some Rikti Warzone missions or a Lady Grey with you to help you help me help us.

And thanks for the advice Kiana and GG. When I ran the ITF when they first came out, I was shocked at how much infamy I was earning (since I'd usually be starting with none (0) infamy thanks to inventions). I just can't remember how much I'd earn on a typical RSF to compare it to since back then I didn't care enough about infamy to keep track of it.

Maybe I'll run both the ITF and the RSF this week with HeroStats running to compare which one earns you more infamy. If I do, I'll post the results here for all my fellow badge hunters.

Just a quick update for any badge hunters stuck like I am right now:

I randomly pulled together a PUG for a ITF this afternoon in the off hours. Managed to get 7 people, I believe all to be level 50. We did the first mission without problem. Second mission someone dropped due to serious real life issues. Third mission, just before we got to the AVs, we lost two others. So it was just 4 people fighting the two AVs and the mech army. We gave up after the third mission (we were myself, a defender, a brute, and a dominator, just didn't have enough damage to attempt Romulus Warshade).

So 3 missions done. I earned 2.7 million, averging about 1.3 mill an hour according to HeroStats. We were on heroic/villainous difficulty.

I'm going to try a full 8 man team today on a higher difficulty for comparison's sake.

I have a feeling the next double XP weekend will be how I get that last infamy badge.
