Man. I can understand "buy it nao" when I'm buying salvage or even lower priced IOs... but paying 550 million for something that is also selling (with patience) for as little as 116 million? When you're talking 1/4th of the total influence cap, I'd think waiting 24 hours might be prudent?

I have purples in storage. I was waiting for full sets before I started slotting, but this... this makes it very hard to not sell them....

Speaking as someone who's paid 200m for an Obliteration quad, I can understand the people paying those prices. Influence isn't a finite resource; you can always make more of it.
Besides, throwing around vast sums of money is one of the pleasures of being rich.

I had some sets in storage for the eventual respec of my fire/rad, which I pulled out, dusted off and sold for GROTESQUE profits.
I expect to be able to buy them back for a fraction of that once I16 hits.
