The Rogue Isles Legends (a villain team)

Hello my fellow evil doers!

I'm putting together a team of villains for issue 16 to celebrate the next round of Powerset Proliferation and the long awaited Power Customization.

This team will start at level 1 or 2 (depending on if you want to do the Tutorial or not), and level up to 50 running missions, Strike Forces, and Respecs. It will be an opportunity to meet your fellow villains, and steal and destroy things with them. It's also an excuse to roll a new character to try out the newest proliferated powers, if you want.

The team will meet once a week, on Tuesday evenings, and play from 8 eastern time until 10 eastern time. Possibly longer if a Strike Force runs long. We will discuss the week's planned capers and misdeeds here on the forums between sessions, so everyone can know what to expect when they sign on for the week.

I'd like to throw my name in as a "maybe" - I don't know what my class schedule is going to be until the week before the schedule starts, and it changes every month. I'll try to keep up with the group based on progress shown in the thread so I'm not behind when I can show up, though.

As for what? I was waiting to see what everybody else is going to bring, to try to mesh in a little easier. Currently I'm debating actually playing Spines, now that you can get rid of the fugly bananas.

I'll probably do an Archery/Rad corr but will make my final decision based on what else is on the team. 2 Archery corrs wouldn't be bad once we get Rain of Arrows, and everyone loves /Rad

I was thinking we would probably take Kalinda, just because she's right next to the Arbiter for when we crush out those first 3 or 4 levels, but if most players would rather do Burke that is fine with me.

Also, now that we have 2 weapon users on the team, and I expect that we will have more, is running Technician Naylor at 35 so we can get the Rularuu (sp) gear.

I'm looking at claws brutes pretty hard. The only question is: Will the issue be released before my subscription expires?

I've got at least 3 concepts burbling around in my head, one a brute, one a corrupter, and one a mastermind. So, my question is: How so serious?

The MM would be a cross between Betty Boop and Victor Von Doom, so, yeah... not very. The corruptor would pretty much be your standard 4-color "Hey, Kids! Comics!!" sorta villain, while the brute would be a tragic/serious type. I'd be happy playing any of them, but I don't want to harsh anyone's mood by playing to an inappropriate tone. So I thought I'd ask, first.

I made a seperate list for alternates and maybes. It will be okay if we wind up with more than 8, as that will give us some wiggle room if someone misses a session, ect. Also, we can split into two smaller teams on nights we have more than 8, and still be eligible for most of the content in the game.

I am in. I'll be coming along unless some major complication stops me. I will probably bring either A) a claws/stone brute or B) a stone/stone Dominator named Full Spektrum.

I don't mind RP at all as long as it doesn't get in the way and make everything a slow grind.
