Patron Power Question
You're not stuck with him as far as your patron pool is concerned. You can respec into a different pool once you've finished his arc. However, you are stuck with him as your patron contact.

I just started my Patron Arc and someone told me to do Mako's arc because it was the easiest to finish. I told them I wanted to do Sirocco's and they told me you choose your patron afterward. I am now starting to think this is not true. Am I now stuck with Mako as my Patron, or can I still change to Sirocco? I have completed the first two missions of Scirocco's.

But after you have sufficiently progressed along whichever arc you chose, and earn the patron badge, You can choose from ANY of the patrons' pool powers. (This was not always the case - but was changed to this some time ago)
You can select Mako's powers for build 1, and Scirocco's for your second build. It's just the story arcs/badge that you cannot switch.
"My inner mind has become a reality-cracking overgod. He torments me! Help!"
You can only have one patron, If you start sirocco's story arc, you cannot later play Mako's ark....

None of the patron arcs are HARD, you should do whichever you prefer. Also, which is the hardest really depends a lot on YOU. Mako's arc has a mission that makes certain stalkers and Masterminds refuse to ever do it. Black Scorpion's has a "hard" mission where the "challenge" is essentially a giant wall of Hit Points that deals basic Smashing/Lethal/Energy damage.
So like I said before, do the one you want; it's more fun that way. If you run into something tricky, you can get help or gain a level before completing it.
If you just want the badge, can you get it if you play someone else's patron arc all the way through? If so, does it have to be in one sitting for the hanger's on? Or, is it not possible? In general, for most arcs, I'm unclear as to when "the team" gets a badge, and when it's only the mission getter. Thanks in advance for your replies.
Whoa, necropost.
No, you cannot get the badge by teaming. You MUST do your own Patron Arc.

Pretty much all the rest are team.

Thank you for the replies.
Sorry about the necroposting.
I'm a fairly old board user so I never know the etiquette. And it apparently varies board to board. Some boards, if I ask straight off, I'm told to "use search and ask there". On other boards, if I find a old thread and ask there, I'm necroposting (Which I'm told is that I'm inappropriately bring back old threads). So I do apologise if it offended anyone. Board rules are confusing to an old dude that thinks "VCRs and 20 inch TVs are JUST FINE" hehe.
But thanks again for the replies.
No biggie, most of us are pretty easygoing.

Now, where was I... Right.
Both the "Search and post there" and "Don't necropost" rules apply here. There's no hard rule when the cutoff occurs. Generally, if there's an active thread on your topic (New posts in the last few days/on the first couple pages of the forum), post there. If the post is a couple months old, probably better to start a new thread. If there hasn't been a post in 3-4 months or more, best to let it rest.
There is an autopurge of old, inactive threads, but a thread has to lie dormant quite a while before it kicks in, and certain things (like having a post from a dev) can prevent it from autodeleting (see: threads with no new posts in 3 years, but a single post from Statesman on page 2 keeps it alive, though buried on page 83 of its forum, even though States is long gone).
@Roderick
Most kind. Thank you. I'll do my best to follow the directives as given.
And, as long as that nursing home has internet and computer so I can play CoH... I'm game, heh.

Thank you. I'll admit I didn't actually know what "multi-quote" meant, and my inlaws were strict with the "If you don't know what the button does, or what the file does, don't click it".
I appreciate the tutorial. Again, thanks.

Main use of Multi-Quote is stuff like this, to cut down on one person spamming a thread with replies to everyone from before. The multi-quote from another thread is just bonus.
No problem :P (Note, multi-quote quotes in the order of the button pushed, not the order of what was posted first)
