So, the grey boxes? I've been trying to figure out why they are grey and what that means. I think that if someone tries to give you rep + (maybe -, im not sure) but they have a lower rep count then you it shows up as grey.
Can anyone else confirm this? Or am I like way late and we already have a post about grey boxes?

I can see it being gray if someone has red rep and tries repping others. But the neutral part wouldn't make since, we all started with neutral rep with the new forum. I've heard others mention that if a person with little rep, gives rep to a person who has a lot of rep, the rep received appears gray.

Oh goodness I made the sad, sad mistake of saying the poster of a thread didn't know the advantages to their powers.
